Playstation It slayed jag,3do, neo-geo cd, saturn, philips cdi N64. Those games back then on par graphics, but 2d cartoons rule for ever from 16bit to 128 bit on a sd or ed tv. 3d games have to keep pushing the envelope with both developers and machines with the hidef and virtua head set.

Hey, I'm searching for this game, that has the same gameplay as final fantasy, but you start of as a dragon like thing in a crystal, then some miners destroy it, you kill everyone, some big fat dude comes and knocks you out cold, and you pop up as a baby in some forest and this wolf/lion dude saves you from some wolves, anyone knows what game that is? You start out in a bright blue crystal in the middle of daunia mines, two miners come in and blow up the crystal with TNT, and you are still alive - you run around burning anyone who gets in your way and until being knocked out and captured. You fall off the train transporting you, and then a baby wakes up in a forest (Cedar Woods). a strane looking guy with a tail (Rei) gets annoyed at you interrupting him hunting.. That it?

metal gear solid, one of my first games i've played for this console, brings me memories, some complain it cause cutscenes are too long, what it works for me is that I sit back and enjoying the show :)))

totally disagree on the statement that ps2 and ps3 are better than the original ps1. Yeah better graphics but look on gt countdown's best systems of all time. ps1 was voted the best system because of the games that got launched, great gameplay of most games and because it took a ton of the market at that time.
