  • You cant ever compare times square to dundas square you know why...dundas square is way better its just our square city...im pretty sure you have other square cities in the world.

  • Rip off of time square

  • homas hood

  • What happened to all the shops that sold rock t-shirts, posters, jeans, and pizza by the slice?

  • I'll visit this place in June!

  • ya torontos an awesome place!

  • omg toronto has changed so much over the years the construction is done and it looks sort of like nyc, dundas sqaure

  • Dundas Square is nice, I live near it!

  • wow,, a cobble stone square with trees... *yawn* instead of the lights and glitter of the current yong-dundas square under construction..?! (Europeans are lame - Toronto is a city of big dreams and needs a bit lively and energetic square that reflects this)

  • umm tacky...ugly ... you obviously dont see its construction

  • I don't think tacky is the right word here - just plain out ugly. Seriously, Toronto should've taken a cue from Europe on this one. A nice cobblestone square would've been lovely with actual trees and flowers *sigh*

  • Dundas Square was meant to be alike to New York Times Square not a European Plaza. And cobblestone Square in the heart (and busiest part) of the city? Dude, two words for you...urban planning. If it they made it cobble stone, it would come out like a sore thumb and unappealing. Educate yourself.

Dundas Square is a beautiful place...waaay better than Trafalgar and Picadilly Circus (which was a HUGE disappointment to me)

  • i enjoy the tackyness, its very big! like wow.

  • Hahahahaha! The square is so ugly. We only built it for the tourists.

Look close at this video and you will see a scaled down replica of the Gardiner Expressway along the north side of the sqaure. I make sure to spit on it when ever I accidentally find myself in that part of the city.

  • Obviously you are more the french part of Canada, it's ok we have the same opinions in europe, the french are arrogant, just the way you are i suppose

  • it's not quite like that here.

French Canada is Quebec and the culture is French Canadian. There are no French-like Canadians or English-like. We are one or the other, with the exception of a few locations French Canada is Quebec. English Canadians are no more influenced by them than Americans are.

  • I agree with the comment, this "younge/dundas square" is tacky as hell and is only for visitors. Not unlike timesquare in NYC but Americans are tacky by nature so they love it.

  • lol you guys are so bad, but seriously, they need not make another TImes Square or Shibuya Crossing. They definitely need to start building, because that shit's been there for a long ,loooong, time .

  • Dundas Square is ONLY for visitors?!

FYI they hold a LOT of free concerts, events and fares at Dundas Square...how is that for visitors only? you don't know what you're talking about.
