They had put some sofa's on stage for the guitarists to sit on and Axl was standing on a golf kart that was driving allong. While he was singing , he was throwing pizza into the crowed. Back then I was dissapointed they did allot of songs acousticly but when I look back this silly song was my highlight of the show. BTW this was in Nijmegens Goffert park the Netherlands.

Tbh, you really cant compare Izzy's and Axl's voice.
Back then, axl's voice was better. But that was beacuse he topped it. And by that i mean he sang at the most complicated way, just to get the music right.

If it weren't for Axl most of us wouldn't have heard of Izzy and vice versa. Add Adler, Slash, and Duff and viola! Cynergy is an overused term nowadays but it is appropriate here.
Izzy was the heart and soul of GNR, not the whole thing, but the heart and soul.
I think you're english is poor, and Axl's voice has been damaged over the years. He's gettin it back though, in 2007 it was spot on,, not the same as years ago, but still great. He's gettin there man, and as for Izzy... his song writing skills outclass his vocal talent 100 fold. He had a decent voice, but nowhere enar as great as even current Axl's
I'm one of the few that thinks Velvet Revolver and Guns N Roses as their own bands is a good thing. It let them explore their own artistic interests they had before the breakup. I think once they all get that out of their system I really think they will at least do a little reunion concert someday, they've been pretty cool to each other lately so I don't see why not.

I totally agree that they will do at least a reunion in the next 5 yrs. Sadly though, ticket prices will set record highs. It would be cool if they kicked it off with a suprize gig at the Trobadour or Whiskey or one of their old spots from pre Appetite era. But I would pay the extra dollar to see it. The only way it would be worth doing it though is if Izzy agreed and did it. Steven would be cool to, but I think Matt Sorum would be the drummer, but they would need Izzy! Not Gilby....
i was there aswell by sunday night i was burnt out/that was a crazyass download,off my nugget man,I watched the Prodigy till the end and walked over to the main stage to catch this set,I saw em in 1993 at MK.this was ok but not the gnr I loved so much back then,Metallica on saterday just destroyed the park.Even hetfield said if you could see what I can see from up here is pretty amazing.England never lets metal bands down,They all love to play at Donington!

Hey...i was there=). People started throwing bottles on the stage at one point, and one hit the bass player. He got pissed off and chucked his bass at a camera man on the edge of the stage. Then the camera man got pissed off and so on. Axl was acting up a bit at first, but eventually the show turned out pretty good. Paradise City kicked so much ass at the end.

Man, Axl's vocals sucked on this song big time. His voice is way better this year. His voice went from pure shit in 2002 to o.k in 2006 to almost as good as old but not quite in 2007. So glad about that!
Even though I would be one of the first in line to buy tickets to see a GNR reunion, Axl's voice seems like it is giving out some: he doesn't have the same rawness and presence of voice that he did 20 years ago or even 10 years ago in the song he released for the End of Days soundtrack. Besides the real shame is that a reunion could turn out to be a one-off, without any new material from the line up that recorded Illusion I/II.
Just recently Axl had a party at his mansion and guess what was playing? The finished Chinese Democracy.
Also when he was celebrating his 45th birthday he asked if he could continue inside a nightclub that was just about to close in exchange for a copy of the finished Chinese Democracy.

i saw gnr in toronto in november and they were really good. they were better in their prime, lats not forget that they paly this song at the end of their shows so axl was obviously tired. listen to some of their new songs. they are still a good band.

Axel with stradlin, next comes slash and this band will be back. I wonder if these old guys can reunite once again in peace just for the fans...would be the best thing to happen in a long time to rock bands, almost as sweet as van halen back.

Man, Axl's vocals sucked on this song big time. His voice is way better this year. His voice went from pure shit in 2002 to o.k in 2006 to almost as good as old but not quite in 2007. So glad about that!

Even though I would be one of the first in line to buy tickets to see a GNR reunion, Axl's voice seems like it is giving out some: he doesn't have the same rawness and presence of voice that he did 20 years ago or even 10 years ago in the song he released for the End of Days soundtrack. Besides the real shame is that a reunion could turn out to be a one-off, without any new material from the line up that recorded Illusion I/II.

i saw gnr in toronto in november and they were really good. they were better in their prime, lats not forget that they paly this song at the end of their shows so axl was obviously tired. listen to some of their new songs. they are still a good band.
