SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! Okay I traded my samsung impression with my cousin for this phone... I love it too but It has Windows mobile 5.0... I didnt get the CD when we traded... it has cingular on the bottom instead of at&t and, I just need help.. please help!

OMG when I go on the website and click on the "SGH-i607 page" link it won't open it says "Internet Explorer cannot display this page". What is wrong??? I wanna upgrade my windows mobile to 6.0!!

Ok, if you upgrade your unlocked phone it will lock it. Here is how to unlock..

FIRST REMOVE THE BATTERY AND THEN SIM CARD.

PLACE BATTERY BACK IN AND THEN TURN PHONE ON.

NOW PRESS: #7465625*638*75297038# (THIS WILL BRING UP NUK BOX)(NETWORK UNLOCK KEY)

THEN PRESS IN: 75297038

IF DONE CORRECTLY IT WILL SAY SYSTEM UNLOCKED.

NOW PLACE ANY SIM FROM ANY CARRIER AND ENJOY....

ive been stuck on the last stage of this for a good while now. ive gone through the boot and pda stages but it's stuck on the "phone" stage and the time just seems to be a bunch of random numbers. it's been about 2 or 3 hours now

I've bought an unclocked blackjack1 and im thinking to upgrade to wm6.

Anybody had experience,will it be re-locked again after the upgrade?

will acitivesync 4.5 work on vista?? i downloaded activesync 4.5 but it says it won't work with Vista. is there a version that works with Vista?

For anyone else who ran into problems installing the Modem Drivers on XP SP2(installation crashes), try setting the setup.exe file's compatability mode to Windows 2000. That worked for me. (right click file, properties, compatability tab, check compat. box and choose Windows 2000 from the dropdown box)

My sammy is unlocked, who knows if after the update the sammy will be locked to at&t again?

it prolly be locked in again, but you might be able to unlock it using the same process you used for wm5

Is There A Downgrade???

This Upgrade really sucked for me.

A few problems were:

You cant customize the side bar.

You cant use office mobile.

and some other things but yeah.. please please please send me a link to downgrade on my channel or something.Thanks

wm6 for the blackjack comes with office mobile..... and i havent seen anyone who has actually downgraded to wm5

I have one question though...I just got my phone...there is are no vids, pic, or anything on it...so when I upgrade, should I still back everything up?

I mean, all my applications will still be there right? (like AT&T music)

It's an update was done in collaboration with Microsoft, AT&T and Samsung to accommodate both features and AT&T services. So you should be covered. But make sure to back up music, programs, etc. that you've added yourself to phone.
