Hey, was it really this quiet? Or was it noisy? If it was no louder than in this video the GE90 significantly changed from the GE90-94B (777-200ER) to the GE90-115B1, as the older GE90s are dead loud.

@Jhondinn Hello, Im glad you liked my video...i did not see economy at all...but it's got to be good Qatar get a 5 star rating and the rating covers all classes not just in business and first class, i have seen videos on Youtube and the PTV screen look big for economy im sorry i could of not helped you out more, enjoy the flight and if you can...do a video...i think you can pick the seat you would like to sit in starting from 36 hours before the flight so choose well.

@19bootsy68 thanks my friend yep i did as you said i choosed seat wing view 18K Cairo - Doha then transit 9 hours .. then 16K Doha - Bangkok :) i hope 16K and 18K not front of the engine cuz am gonna record video also from economy .. i will share with you when i upload it :)

Flown Qatar airways to Dubai and back a few years ago and it was the best flying experience ever.

@filthiestfish Well i don't want to upset any loyal Emirates or Etihad fans but i got to say Qatar were better than both of them in business class...i've been so blessed and lucky i can fly and also flown on the 3 big middle east airlines to say 1st Qatar 2nd Etihad 3rd Emirates...thats me..others will think im talking bullshit....one airline i must try in business class is Oman Air...their business class and overall service is pretty damn good.

Are their business class seats on the A33O.300's on the A340.300's as well?

After i fiddled around with everything i dropped them into my swag bag and made off into the Thai sunset with them..;)

@Deltapilot96 Thanks for the comment, Yes kind of...i really enjoyed flying with Qatar...more so when the cabin is near empty...but like they say.."All good things must come to an end" Bangkok was a good place to end a flight if you know what i mean? ;)

@19bootsy68 Yeah, I saw it's very hot weather there too, 34 degrees celcius :)) I want to fly in business class too but since my parents are booking I can't really do anything about it. We're are not super poor (:P) but they just think it's unnessecary to pay 5 times as much, they want to spend that money on the destination insead :( :P

bootsy, fantastic video again! ths was excellent. it was amazing how much more quickly the b777 lifts off compared to the A340. when watching your takeoff if the A340, it seemed like it wouldn't make it, like it would not get airborn. but the 777 takes off definitively and forcefullly. it's awesome. what about those seats? they look like they are 100% lie flat, not angld lie flat. Will you post a video of your return flight to london? Very nice, job!

Thank you sfflyer123, im sure the all A340's use more runway up all the other planes...but also i think the B777.300ER was not full where as the A340.600 was full in all 3 classes..hence a longer take off? the seats on the B777 are 100% lie flat with 79 inches of pitch, all Qatar's other planes are a 60 inch pitch and angled lie flat...yes i have the BKK to DOH up now but only an inflight video as i had a Qatar Airways pilot sat next to me so i did not video take off and landing :(

@19bootsy68 That is interesting. I wonder if the angled-lie flats are old configuration and the full lie flats are new, or they just have a hybrid of both. Yes, the b777 was empty, but even when full, those B777's take off very nicely compared to the A340, which as one person put it, "requires the curvature of the earth in order to take off"! I will look for the BKK-DOH.
