Decisions, decisions.. No, I just find my worth outside parenthood. I am successful, intelligent, and am valued by society and my own self despite not wanting/having children. I think some women are terrified that their value would decrease without having kids. Hitler knew that some women wanted kids, and encouraged them to stay home. He also knew that some just were better suited without. He put them in high, distinctive positions.

While the over-population argument is a strong rebuttal to Hitler's point, around the time when he was alive the world's population hadn't boomed anywhere near the level it is today. But that problem is mostly the responsibility of the Chinese and the Indians. Besides, I think all women, at the very core at some animalistic level are maternal in the same way as all men are at the very core paternal. Some people simply decide that they'd prefer to swim against the currents.

This doesn't explain the men who refuse to take responsibility for their children, or the women (and men) who are harmful or violent towards their children.
