  • I think meditation is difficult for many people because in some way they are afraid to not think a thought. I couldn't say exactly what they are afraid of.. maybe through meditation they are afraid a very bad experience will replay itself in their head, or they think they are simply losing intelligence by ignoring their thoughts. I want to be able to meditate calmy though.. whenever I do, I feel the rush of impatience, followed much by random unassociated sounds and thoughts. Help? :-P

  • Christine seems very genuine to me...I can feel her harmony coming through the screen. I love the way she pauses between sentences, its shows real reflection on the subject.

  • I did once. I saw a rainbow like sphere. I was so excited that I end up loosing the 3D vision. I know this cause I'm blind in my right eye. Could I have still traveled even though I'm awake being blind and all? Was it just a lucid dream? Now I have to many t.v.s (thoughts & sounds) going on in my head. How do I shut it off?

  • 5 Minutes meditation is very short time, most people do not know how to meditate, actually you can do it, one hour, 2 hours or even more, you will not feel it........

  • Even one minute is a struggle for me, because "I'm not thinking anything" is also a thought :)

  • All beings must be within to find peace but we are not at that level know. Thnking is part of the way for all of us. All ways leads to God right???

  • your not suppose to sit without thinking you just be aware of the thoughts then bring youself back to the breath. the more you fight to stop thinking the more thinking will try to come to you. your not dead yet and you will think.. just be aware of thoughts then let them go.

  • I would bet it takes years to reach the point to still the mind for 5 minutes. I use nueral beat technology to achieve the meditative state because they say it takes many years of training to still the mind.

  • Thanks for this. I'd always been told visualize this, ask the universe that, but I guess silence and thoughtlessness are the true ways to meditate, which makes things a lot less complicated.
