  • @carbonxhawaii Good question... It's called annealing.

    I bring the file to about 1500 then quench in white ash for 24 hrs. Thanks for watching.

  • @MrRickjitsu One mans junk will now be another mans treasure... The steel is top of the line too! I always leave some of the original file marks on there to add some character and eye appeal! I don't do too many out of files, but they're pretty kool! Thanks Rick!
