WOW! I have one of the old two-door models from real early November 1925, and the combo of the Clumbia Viva Tonal is truely a rich enjoyable sound experience. I (as I'm sure you do) appreciate honestly being able to go back in time and have an auditory experience just as those folks did. You are young, and I began collecting 40 years ago when I was 12. Thanks...it is good to know a new generation is keeping these treasures alive.
Such a grand song! I appreciate the "playing the old record on the old machine" but I wish you would transfer this record with a modern machine.... it's a great sound!!! Though I'm amazed as to the quality of your process!!
The "Ipana Troubadors" regularly appeared on radio at the time {hence, the orchestra was named after the sponsor's product, Bristol-Myers' Ipana toothpaste}. Thanks! Yes, well, the motor is electric, but the sound is still acoustic. This is an early 1926 Credenza with a brass reproducer.
