  • Dude you nailed it!!!! keep up the awesome job!!!!

  • @vironfletcher LOL thanks for the comment. As far as more drumming you can look at the other 200 video's I have on Youtube from when I first started playing to the one's of last week. Check them out and have a great new year Bryce

  • i really wish i had a decent kit that sounded better than crap so i could upload anything i wanted without hurting peoples ear but i guess i'm lucky to actually have a drum kit with the money problems i'm having :( ................... your playing sounded great with that kit :D

  • @Awsum4ger Thank You and I am sure the guys over at DMR Custom Drums love the comment. I am an Endorser for DMR Custom Drums.

  • @BryceKretzRocks if i had just enough money to just upgrade the skins and cymbals then i would be happy with that, guess that is why i'm going for a job.....

  • @Awsum4ger All my gear is paid for by me and the money I make playing gigs with my band. I am 14 and don't have to ask anybody for anything. I laugh when people try to put me down on here for what I do. As far a new equipment, when I was first starting out I got a lot of stuff off Ebay and Craigslist. Have you tried looking of those two for stuff?

  • @BryceKretzRocks i don't have access to credit cards or anything

  • Its really fun watching you play, not only because of the stick tricks, which are awesome, but because you are really into it and having a good time. You are taking lessons, which sometimes will do more damage than good, but it doesn't seem to have had that effect on your playing. Don't let it take the feeling away. I have played professionally for 30 years and I can say, I really get a kick out of this video. Your style is inspiring. Nice kit, too. Have fun with it!

  • okay you got the common straight beat down,, now try something harder like a swing or train beat. And get rid of the old guys playing classic rock, lol.

  • @SpinoutsVideos Dude if you look in my videos that are up to date you will see all that and More! Opening for John Anderson in front of 3000 people. Playing with the Jason Aldean Band on stage. And about 200 other Video's of me and my band doing Train Beats and Swing. Would be cool to see some of your stuff.

  • Wow your amazing to say the least, i posted your video on my facebook also. and my band also thinks your crazy talented :)

  • @1koolkat5 Thanks for the great comment. Glad you enjoyed the video's. You can also find me on Facebook at facebook dot com/brycekretz

  • My friend has been a drummer all his life and he posted your link on his FaceBook page too!

Keep on Rocking in the New Year!

I wish you and your loved ones All the Best In 2012!

  • @NickieC1 Nickie I want to wish you a wonderful New Year filled with health and Happiness. Bryce

  • I am in Montreal, and I am just learning how to enjoy drum playing at the "Over the Hill" age of 53 (ha ha)! I was surprised to see that you’ve just been playing for 2 years?!

How many hours per week does it take to be able to play like you?

  • @NickieC1 Never too old to ROCK! Due to all the gigs I play I really don't have much time to practice. People think I practice the stick tricks but I don't. They are kinda all made up on stage at my gigs. When I do practice its all business. I play over 200 gigs a year with my band and also go to school. Each gig is atleast 4 hours and travel time too. Thats 200 X 4 hours is 800 hours a year plus each year. The good part is I get paid for every one of those hours. i also take lessions too.

  • Wow this young man Really "ROCKS"!

  • I Used To Be A Good Drummer. But Then I Took An Arrow To The Knee

  • In my opinion, the first time that sticks fly away on stage you will stop doing that and you will put your energy in learning drumming. What I see is a haughtily attitude doing that. To invert time in stick tricks, you first have to have nothing more to learn on drumming. Best regards.

  • @jdallavia dude,I drop sticks all the time. Every drummer drops sticks. Its how you recover from that. I have no problem just getting another stick. Have you seen my other 200 videos on youtube? You should see the ones where I throw them off the wall or kick them back to me.

  • @BryceKretzRocks Just continue enjoying yourself and thanks for sending great videos to YouTube so that we too can all enjoy your drumming!

  • @NickieC1 Its all about having fun and playing for me.People love to be entertained and thats what I do when I am on stage.

  • Zoltan Chaney went back in time, DAMN son!! Awesome job!

  • the tricks are awesome but the drumming isn't amazing but i guess it would be hard to play amazing and do all those tricks, awesome drummer

  • he is great

  • ya flip those sticks !!

  • Awesome this kid really has potential to make it in the business. I wish i started with 11 years.

    Rock on!

  • what song is this

  • @hunterbryant835 First song is I want you to want me.

  • Not bad but his form and technique are horrible.

  • Adam Gray. This is not him

  • @winzlow125 Just watched some of Adam Gray. I started doing tricks watching Benny Puckett. I was invited to NAMM 2011 last Jan and seen Chip Ritter live doing tricks. Chip blew my mind. I think Adam is trying to copy what Chip does. I try to be more about playing and doing tricks just for fun and entertainment. If you look at my current video's I think you will see that.

  • @BryceKretzRocks everyone should be more about playing for fun, not necesarly tricks. Adam is just a beast all around and adds in tricks for flare, and hes got some nice spins n twirls. and can juggle 3 sticks lol. but Luke Holland tops it, I didnt wanna whip out the big guns =p

  • @winzlow125 You want to see insaine type in on youtube. Chip Ritter Stick Tricks NAMM 2011

  • @BryceKretzRocks i cant believe youve only been playing for two years.. great job

  • @emaster97 This was actually 2 years and 3 months. You can see some of my newer stuff in my newer videos. Its been a wild ride so far. Thanks.

  • this kid is a good drummer but doing stick tricks doesnt mak u a good drummer stick tricks are for entertainment

  • hey Bryce. what's the title of the second song you played? :D

  • @sherimoi The song is Two Princes by The Spin Doctors.

  • 11 dislikes? some people are soo freaking jealous haha im a drummer and im insanley jealous but still definetly "like" it

  • This drummer's at the right gig, lol.

    Great video.

  • the title should be "ME doing stick tricks on drums and tearing it up", the way you put it makes me think your talking about some other kid

  • haha. this song reminds me of high school! and yea, good job kid! keep going!

  • When the Levee Breaks was a major breakthrough for me... And that's pretty much where it ended ;P Way to rock it!

  • Dude your friggen awesome. Ive been playing for 3 years and this blew me away dude.

  • @WellsCostello Thanks Man!

  • nice nice nice

  • y'all should osbourne's son

  • someone gotta say it... you just domnt swing man.. way to hoocked on doing tricks and look good... FIRST swing. then spice it up with tricks... yeah i know youre very young and for youre age youre awsome no doubt about that... but remember it dosent mean a thing if you aint got that swing ;O)... kep up the good work ;O)

  • I've been playin 26 years and could never do that! That's awesome man! : D

  • @dallas8288 PS. check out the latest videos of my band play in front of about 3000 people opening for a national act about 2 weeks ago. Don't worry about me I am doing just fine.

  • Bryce, I suggest you don't give the haters satisfaction by commenting on their negativity. We fans who love you and think your style is great will take care of haters for you. One can tell drumming comes natural to you and the stick tricks are just part of the natural playing style you have. I only wish I could play as well as you, but being 41 it's probably too late for me. Best wishes.

  • HEY KID,FUCK THE HATERS MAN ,YOUR AWESOME ,KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO,YOU GOT YOUR THING GOING ENJOY IT MAN,A SHOUT OUT TO YOU KID,LOVE IT ,KEEP ROCKING!!!!!!! =)

  • @chatoboy64 Thanks Man, I just laugh when I read it anyways. For all the haters I just want to let you all know me and my band ROUGH SHOTare Opening for Legend Mr John Anderson at Mudapalooza this weekend. Google Mudapalooza Labor Day Weekend.

  • Kid's got talent! Hey bro, if you ever get bored of drumming, that's okay. Take a break and get back to it. You've got the grooves inside of you......

  • BEING HONEST. i think your a great drummer. :) BUT check my Americas Got Talent Drum Video. Its a solo with stick tricks put together with rhythmic patterns. Doing it with a band is a lot of fun! I do in mine! but doing it yourself in solo's is how youll get noticed for having the ability AND using it correctly. GREAT video. love to see more. :)

  • Mikey, you can see a whole lot more in all my video's. I have been playing for 3 years and gig over 200 times a year right now. All this and just turned 14

  • Good.. But too much flash, not enough kicking ass.

  • @hittinskinz24 Lots of fun on stage and thats what we get paid for. People love to be entertained and have fun. If you look at my other vidios you will see pleanty of Kick Ass! I am now 14 and still have a long way to go. People love what I do on stage and my style of drummimg. Its all about playing and having fun. We play 4 nights a week and its very easy to get burned out after 2 years if its not fun..

  • stick UNDER THE LEG, you are one of the coolest drummers ive seen, and thats even including proffesionals

  • @FreakinKoolMedia Thanks for the great comment,. Bryce

  • @BryceKretzRocks np, have you head of this kid quinn sullivan? you guys should totally jam (blues guitarist, blues drummer)

  • @FreakinKoolMedia Yes I have heard of him. I talk from time to time with Tallan Noble too.

  • @BryceKretzRocks sick!

  • WELL IVE GOT TO SAY look at all the lost beats with the stick tricks, ,,there is time for all the stick tricks,,kids that age need to focus,, the show will come later ,,i am sorry he has all ready put him self in a box of fans that are not there to watch him drum but see tricks and that is sad,,the best drummers in the world do no tricks it is all beats,,,i have one ? can this kid do a 25 min solo from jazz to heavy metal,,,because i do know of a 16 year old that plays johnny cash to slayer

  • @ThePearldemon Lets get something straight right now. This kid would be ME! I do not have to do anything you tell me I have to do! Please do not be SORRY for ME because I play over 200 PAID gigs a year right now. I am an endorsed drummer with DMR and the Kelly SHU system. LOOK on the artist pages and you will see me with some very famous drummer next to me. I play Jazz, Heavy Metal (very easy stuff may I say) Rock and Country and yes that means Johnny Cash.

  • @BryceKretzRocks Hey Bryce, dont let ANYONE tell you how to play (unless they are paying you lol). I have been playing drums for 20 years and I can tell how fluent you play and your form is great for your age. You are light years head of some people that I know that have been playing for 10 plus years. Adding tricks to your routine now will only help you in the long run. It helps improve concentration and will only get better as you progress. Keep on praticing, your doing great!!

  • @mosucka1 Thanks Man, I hear every word you are saying. Most people who are good on drums love what I do on stage. Most people who are not good on drums are haters of what I do. I don't listen to that stuff. I have 4 gigs this week that I am getting ready to play. All paid gigs. At 13 Years Old I probably make more money playing drums than 99.5% if not more 13 year olds in this country. I know it might sound like bragging but its not. Its the way it is. I really do appreciate your comment. Bryce

  • @BryceKretzRocks Hey Bryce, dont let ANYONE tell you how to play (unless they are paying you lol). • @ThePearldemon Now lets get to Part 2. This is not a competition between your 16 year old son and me. Why do you keep plastering your son all over my video's? Also I am kinda hoping in 2 years I am on a big stage with a very well known band playing big gigs and not bragging about playing paid local Florida gigs. You may think what your son is doing now is a big deal. For me its just another day in my life with my band playing another gig. After about 400 gigs they are just another.. Yes 400!

  • @ThePearldemon Now for part 3. I have about 300 video's of me playing music from age 11. Yes I am 13 now and started drumming at age 11. I have not seen one video of your son yet so its hard for me to comment on his playing at age 16. To play with an adult band at age 16 is something to be proud of but not at anyone's expense. I make a lot of money playing AND doing stick tricks. A LOT OF MONEY! Yes at age 13! NUFF SAID!

  • @ThePearldemon Also playing over 200 gigs a year with my band I am a straight - A student in ADVANCED classes and also play SAX in school. I hope you are as lucky with your son. I think you should pay more attention to him as I think he would like it better than me. Don't worry about me I am just fine doing what I am doing. Next time you see Benny with Big Engine tell him Bryce said HI. He will know exactly who you are talking about.

  • @BryceKretzRocks lol BITCH GOT TOLD (thepearldemon)

  • Wow why would an adult attack a 13 year old drummer. What exactly did Bryce do to you or your son? I don't know who your son is and don't really care. I know Bryce personally and he is a great young Man, He is a straight A studend and makes a lot of money doing what he loves to do. Listen we all have our likes and dislikes. here is my 2 cents If you don't like his video then DON'T WATCH IT I hope your som becomes the next Neal Peart and BTW Neil's dad didn't complain about the video.

  • @ThePearldemon ah shut up you asshole don't start youtube fights. thomas lang is a great drummer who uses stick tricks. its all about showmanship!

  • @ThePearldemon your jellous

  • I personally loved this! Don't listen to the haters telling you to stop throwing your sticks around. I say, if you can manage all those tricks and STILL stay on time [which you did], go for it. It makes it more fun for the audience, and that's what the haters are forgetting!

    Keep rocking dude!

  • @balinne I play over 200 PAID gigs a year. Most drummer don't play 200 PAID gigs in their life. People we play for LOVE what we all do on stage. We are one of the hottest bands in South Florida. I make my own money and don't have to ask mom and dad for anything but their time to get me to gigs and perform. They can hate all they want. Thanks for the great comment. Bryce

  • Cool tricks can you actually play or do you put all your time into throwing your sticks into the air??

  • @30aenima986 Can I actually play? If you look at the video I posted on this page that should answer your question

  • Showoff.. Flippin ur drum sticks? Really? I'd focus on concentrating.. On quick Q. Can you play wipeout? I can xD... I only played drums for maybe 1 simester. :D Nice drummin BTW, but i dont like the flippin stick thing.

  • @99pokemonfan 1st I am very happy that you know how to play wipeout. I have played wipe out more times than i wanted to play wipeout. People pay me money just to play wipeout even though I hate playing the song. If you look in the video responses you will see a video of me playing wipeout. You will also see a video of me playing a bunch of other songs. I do not have to concentrate when I play. It all comes natural to me.I know I am not perfect but I am pretty dam good.People tell me all the time

  • can you do a tutorial?

  • this kids gotta play with that 8-yr old blues guitar virtuoso, i would pay alot to see that!

  • He's got good time which is the most impressive thing about it.

  • who ever dis dude is he good

  • less stick twirling more technique.. fun to watch tho. :D

  • So, like are you getting heat from anybody else in the band for stealing their thunder ALL NIGHT LONG...??!!

    (Nice work, pal...keep rockin' it..:)

  • @geoffreydlang Geof, no we are a team and its all about the show. We are a very successful band and we work 4 nights a week. Its all about the show to us guys. Thanks for the great comment

  • Hell ya dude. Looks like you watch a lot of Zolton Chaney.

  • @MrStickTricks I learned a lot of mine watching Benny Puckett from Big Engine. I think Benny might have learned from Zolton. I know Benny just met Zolton last month at Sturgis. Thanks Bryce

  • Oh my god that's ridiculously good. I'm now going to violently throw my drumset out the window and that is your fault.

  • @DylanK811 LOL, Thanks Man
