i have a haleiwa and its awsome, but i would recommend the s9 off the wall 2. its got the sidewinder trucks mounted drop through style so its lower and its got a tail so you can kick it up when your done bombin, the haleiwa you have to pick it up which is lame.

I live in SC, so there aren't many hills to bomb or anything, but I have that exact board, and I love it. The turning and carving ability is sick, and the speed is good too. I would defidenty recommend this board!

S9's more expensive boards are pretty nice, though. My friend has a carbon trylam. It feels like a stiffer vangaurd.
