Wow, definitely captivating and went really well with the tone/mood of the song. From the beginning I was worried it was going to be really cliche - black and white / girl breaking up / blegh. Well, it still was kind of cliche but you did it in a very artistic fashion which made it all worth the while. Good job.

@Redturncoat I believe that my video matches the "feel" of the song, rather than the actual meaning. Nobody knows FOR SURE what exactly this song means to Brand New. So I wanted to stay away from that, trying to make the appropriate mood.

@paperhandsunion My message doesn't necessarily pertain to the actual lyrics of the song. It's more related to the mood of the music. My video is about a lot of things. Life, struggles, broken relationships, loss, vices, etc. Being more specific. The character in this video has a failing relationship. He then starts smoking and goes down the wrong path. The whole disappearing people and reappearing theme on the swing is more about how we try to help people but sometimes its no use.

@paperhandsunion The toy car turning into barrette's meaning is about how everyone starts so innocent when we're younger but we all become corrupted eventually. It's not an anti-smoking video. The cigarettes are more of a visual aid.
