  • Paul Lamb is da king of contemporary Sonny Terry, I have been so fortunate to hear him play and talk Sonny "after hours", oh boy oh boy what a treat!

Next time youre in Loenstrup, Denmark playing for Per and Claus, I'll be wanting more!

Cheers from the tall blond guy.

  • Paul, When Are you comming to the States???? You need to be in Mark hummels Blow-downs??!! "TONE 2 THE BONE"!!!!! Love your playing & attack!!!! Matt.......

  • hi paul, this is good stuff, thanks alot, tell us something about tone would be nice. all the best. tony.

  • You are one of the few who are diggin´ deeper into Sonny`s style.

The really interesting things are not the riffs/licks Sonny got, but the special "tricks" he got up his sleeve to shape this unique sound.

Thanks for this great lesson, Paul
