I tried that because I had been told that the trick would work for all end-of-complex cutscenes, but so far I've only been able to actively trigger that kind of bug for the Peru levels (the Jesus Lara bug is very similar to the Qualopec bug in what it does, but I've never managed to willingly trigger it). In any case, I don't think it's possible to take a closer look at Tihocan's tomb.

there is another bug with the t rex where he stands against the wall and dances (not literally) then u can shoot him to yor hearts content... sadly it makes my computer crash every time i use it :P

The "temple in ruins" bug is more realistc and it should have been like that in the game.You should have to first move the ruins aside before moving the pillars to jump on them.

I encountered a bug in hepheastus in which the ever helpful hammer wasn't there!and when I started back from my last savegame the hammer still wasn't there, just a blank wall with the horizontal pole but no hammer:( have you encountered this b4?

Hm... I've never had that one. Have you checked with Stella's walkthrough at tombraiders . net? She usually has a list of all the potentially game stopping bugs + explanations how to get around them.

You are probably using a trial/demo verison. Only the full version lets you use fraps without time limits.

Sorry, but I can't help you there.

I know that there are programms like CamStudio which let you record whatever happens on the screen + sound (meaning you can also use it outside of games), but they never worked for me.

I know how frustrating this bug can be :( However, if you just keep on hammering the "action" key as soon as Lara has jumped, she should make it. The trick is to jump off the pole again as quickly as possible. Of course, you have to keep camera angles in mind when pushing direction buttons. Just keep on trying! I'm sure you will do it eventually.

there is also an other glitch: st francis folly, in the first part you got that artifact behind the gat, you knwo you shoot a view points and it opens, but if you stand before the gate, facing the gate, then pull your weapons XD en you can press interact, without opening it XD

Jst wondering... have u ever encountered a bug on TR underworld for Wii where Lara gets past the tree on the big blue column, enters a room, finds out her glove dsnt work on the door after she opened it and when she goes to jump on the horizontal pole to get her out of the room with the water.... The pole isn't there?! IT ANNOYS THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!! Any help or suggestions? (Given you've played it of course) :)

Fraps is a screenshot and video capture programme for video games (start Fraps, start the game, start recording). It's easy to use, but it tends to use up a lot of the PCs capacity and it creates HUGE files.

@lina57447 Alright, if I understand you correctly, then you have accidentally triggered the "Inside Qualopec's Tomb Bug", right? The only solution I know, is to load another manually saved game (that is the "savegame 1" "savegame 2" and so ons...) I'm afraid that's the only solution I know. If you don't have any manual saves, you will probably find fansite with saves for download on the internet, so you don't have to replay the entire game.

I used to have #7 happen to me all the time before I got a new PC T_T I feel your pain, I think it has something to do with not enough RAM on the PC or (in your case) running too many high priority things at once aka FRAPS and TRA.

Love this video, really useful! But, beleive it or not, whilst I was playing TRA (on the Xbox 360), in The Mountain Caves ( Or something :S), I had just got into the Waterfall scene. And I killed the Wolves, and jumped into the water. Funny enough, I was able to swim right through the waterfall to get to the door on the otherside - I was happy that it was easier, but sad because I never got to defeat the T-REX. Oh well, I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? xxxx

You can do use the bug, of course, but on your way from the lever to the secret you'll have to step on the pressure plate again, which will most likely trigger the sequence in which the fires start. Consequently, you won't make it to the secret in time, whcih is why I recommend not using the bug, if you want to get the secret.

Sorry for the late reply. Must have forgotten to answer to your comment when I first read it. The trick works for both centaurs, but you have to be very careful when you resurface to get a target lock on centaur #2, because Lara is very vulnerable while she's in the water.

Actuallly, at least in my case, it works on the first one just fine, but when he dies, the other one stops shooting fire. So, I get out and I see the shield of the first one, but it's untouchable (I just run through it). The second centaur just runs around with his shield "flying" behind him. If he petrifies (and he usually does :-S) and kicks Lara the camera remains on the petrified position and all commands except ESC and TAB stop working (pause menu and inventory).

I'm stuck...

Hm... even if you get a target lock on the second centaur? That's weird.

As for the petrifying rays: all you have to do is put away your pistols and turn Lara away from the centaur. Should Lara get petrified, she should be able to free herself if you press left-right very quickly.

Yes, and it's not just my problem. A lot of people had the same difficulties. The trick is to get out, run to the checkpoint near the burning stairs and then save the game there. Now just load and the second centaur will be normal so you can get his shield (the first one disappears) xD BUT if you wait too long he'll stop shooting so you have to be quick and skilled with head shots.

... from there, do a running jump and if you get it exactly right, you can jump straight to the alcove without messing around with levers and blocks and floating platforms etc. i will have a video on my chanel showing it; its uploading right this second. See what you think.

you may beinterested to know in another. i dont know if it counts as a 'bug' as such, but its in the st francis folly level, behind the posidon door.

as soon as you get in the room, climb the main pillar in the middle. take the block away from the fish's mouth as usual. That wat, in case you fall the water level will be high so you spend less time climbing back up.

now, on the other bridge that leads to the locked gate, stand about 2/3rds of the way along the first 'section' of the bridge...
