would prolly work better in a room that cant get a slight draft and with the trim perfectly straight... my dad has the reflex and i make him crash just from blowing on it
you should get 2 of the same copter (same channel too) and set the controller to whatever channel both the helis run on, that would allow you to fly 2 at once, and better... in sync
Thanks, but we've tried that. It simply wont work due to the nature of unstable helicopters. One always drifts away and trying to correct that one, makes the other one go off in a different flight path, always ending in a crash. LOL.
They are pretty cool for small helis and it helps to understand how to fly. It does not go forward or backward very well, and flies like the Reflex..forward for a foot, then stops, blooms up, then forward for a foot and stops, blooms up and then forward again. It's an "elevator" heli, with no way to steer it around because no cyclic controls are on the head, and also very fragile....but of course so are real ones, which cant take crashing either.
Have you tried to fly with two helicopters with the same Mhz and only one transmitter? I tested that with two small airplanes but the other one was weird. When i pushed to turn left it turned right and so on, but the other one was good.
i have a mosquito rc chopper it is awsome fun to fly it i not a very good pilot im still learning to fly it but you done two at once awsome mate good stuff you know your stuff
could you not launch 2 well trimmed 3channel on the same frequency using 1 controller, i wanted to try this but couldnt be bothered buying a 2nd 3 channel heli, also im not a very skilled heli pilot.
Because the helis are always unstable, that would not work...at least more than a few seconds, because one would try to go one way, and you would move the sticks and the other would move too, and both would separate and you would have to decide which one to save at that point, cause one of them is going to crash.
ermm is it just me or on the second part of the vid it looks like hes not flying the first helicopter.. its already in the air and his hand is barley on the throttle
One helicopter (red rotors) has a tail rotor to make it move fore and aft,(it faces down) and the other helicopter has two small pusher/puller motors near the axis. Each heli is 3 channels, which I attempted to use. Of course an extra finger for the throttle, instead of my mouth would have been even cooler.
would be easy with 1 controller 2 of same freq. A

Try to fly two on one TX by taking the 3 Cristals on the same frequencies one in TX one in heli and another in other heli.

with counter rotating rotors, im sure it wasnt all that bad. now if those helis had tail rotors it would be a little more impressive. cool though.
