Just to give you guys an update. This particular iPhone went faulty over the last month: not connecting to WiFi automatically / speaker stopped working intermittently / powering down in my pocket / etc..... I took it into Apple who gladly replaced it for a brand new iPhone 3GS which works perfectly. I also bought a SPECK Candyshell in White to keep it protected.

The screen wipe only comes with the black iphone, because the black finish is a fingerprint magnet (unlike the white one).. :)

they didnt include the microfiber cloth because their new screen coating prevents fingerprints by a signifcanty amount
