have you read wiseblood by her? i couldn't understand the significance of half the shit in the book. i live in the south so i think that's why i'm so drawn to her stuff. the little details she includes is always a nice perk, and the way she makes her characters out to be horribly unattractive or just bad people in any way she can is something i've always liked about her writing. seriously, check out wiseblood if you haven't already. it's a mindfuck.

hehe. don't tell anyone this (even though i'm leaving this as a comment), but my brother took me into the pantry in our kitchen a few nights ago and showed me all the pipes my mom and stepdad have stashed away. medical pot is legal here in michigan too, but it's not as easy to get as it is in la. i haven't smoked weed since i got home and i'm really glad. for the first time in seven years, i'm totally sober. i need to quit cigs. that's great that you did. congrats. i should cut down at least.
