I'm not sure, but I've heard Razorleaf at some point was heavily nerfed. Also, I have Spikeroot, but I'd always produce too many starting units to realize it was within power reach. Still, my hardest challenge is the Grinder boss.

A super cheap method of winning this map without going to the top-right corner of the map is to use ami monument as your fifth orb. :D

Mortar Towers also do enough DPS to kill the frozen Twilight, & only require 1 orb. Upgrade it to get expanded range first.

Shadow Phoenix does sufficient damage & can resurrect if an Embalmer's Shrine is built early enough, but it takes 2 orbs & the whole thing is pretty tricky.

Enemy Thornbarks attack the West orbs (patch update / Adv. diff, etc) so the heavy tank used to absorb Viridia's attacks might as well only come halfway back, and stay at the orbs to deal with them

I know an easy way to beat this without having to defeat the large group in the upper-right corner. All you need is an Amii Monument. I know its cheap, but it's much easier. :D

@Skowron19951 mix stuff like breeding grounds, juice tank, aggressor, rageflame, stone warrior, gemeye, construct... the most effective stuff, and be sure not to get the eras mistaken (monument costs as u progress the map - like, dont put cards that are 2 nature orbs, like spikeroot, and aggressor at same time) as for rest, practice makes perfect

unholy hero + rifle cultists + 2 emberstrikes = ul probably beat the enemy camp within 5 minutes. which is actually fast. and u win, after defending from the treefiends (stone of torment them, or make troops to stall them for like 20 secunds...) and u won!

afterwards, make fire orb, and make a magma spore... or 4. 4 works best rly. use unholy power and theyre ability to kick the ass of the stuff like the boss and his minions. also, use a drones to aid viridya otherwise shel die be4 getting to the safe zone (where boss was... u killed him by the way with the magma spores)

4th orb is frost, make a tremor or 2 for viridya's madness. rifle cultists to beat the enemy archers and stuff that appear after viridya becomes insane.

make a windweaver. make wells after 1st wave, beware not to attract the 2nd wave to the wells. make defenders kills the archers first. when the 3rd wave is frozen by viridya, stone of torment on them. after they are all dead, destroy stone and the windweavers (if theyre still around)

dude i was like "omg how to do this map" until i have watched your replay.

seriously, i hated that you used spikeroots since i dont have them. i was like "is there another way?" and yes there is. it makes helping viridya a little more troublesome but it really fends off the attackers perfectly well.

i used stones of torment. yes, as soon as they where frozen, i just built 2 stones of torment right next to them, and it took them out in a couple of seconds.

Try Seelenbaum's strategy instead. It uses a Stone of Torment to take out the big army, Tremors to handle the Grinder, and then you can use Wyrms and Swamp Drakes to take down the base. Bait the Willsapper into freezing 1 unit as far down on the ramp as possible and then send your main troops in along the top of the map to kill it.

just my advice, i felt that mission was easier to do if u just moved 2 of the defender units off to an unused location on the map , that way u never ha v to worry about their saftey

I play back the replay in the game and capture the video on my computer. Then I take it into a video editing program and edit and add commentary.

I playing with the demo... I can't find one of the orbs. In this video, the orb count goes from 3 to 4 "magicaly" (at about8:25) then he gets the one in the west and done... The only other orb is the one already taken by veridia... Can I grab that one? How?

Sure it's possible with fire, mortars to destroy frozen, few magma hurlers on 2nd phase, with 1 juggy, then kill hurlers, leave juggy next to power well so he regens, and the last phase is dragons + a lot of fire sphere, it's the most usefull spell here ; )

Thank you for this replay. I've been trying with no success to complete phase 3 like... 30 times now. The pralyzing tower keeps my unit(s) at bay for too long and I can't really capture the last orb. Will try with a fire deck, perhaps Fire Sphere and Comet Catcher will help clearing the house (?)

Definitely, any long range siege unit would be useful to clear out the buildings at the end of the map.

Another thing I've read is that the paralyzing tower can only paralyze a certain number of units (maybe based on unit cap). If true, you could possibly send in a large force of T1 melee units to get frozen, then follow up with a bunch of ranged units to take down the tower.

I've finally managed to do it with a green deck. I didn't realize razorleaves had a longer range so I kept moving in ruthlessly. Instead, if you root it at a certain distance it can destroy the tower from afar. Tried also with a pure fire deck but that's harder than expected. Need to go back and strategize a bit more.

I haven't seen any pure fire replays, but I'm pretty sure it'd be possible, with the right strategy. People using fire mostly mix in nature or shadow. Stone of Torment is great for clearing the frozen Twilight.
