@lilkittenpenang Cheong Fatt Tze was a great contributor and had done lots of good to business economy in the then Malaya and Singapura. I had visited his mansion in the late 90's which was already converted to a hotel. The mansion is magnificient, rich historic background, a must see tourist attraction. We went through the same ordeal except that the rows of shop houses and cinemas in a prime area in KL were "stolen" by my grandpa's brother whom he trusted to look after them in early 90's.
@JasAlf5959 i guess you know how i feel..it's really sad if my great great grandfather knew his mansion is now owned by someone outside the family he'd totally flip.

Great video. Love where I came from. Spent most my childhood in Pg, swimming in the sea off Batu Feringgi, fishing with friends and hiking there too.... to MukaHead....those were the days.....lovely memories. The music scores sounded very familiar..my favourite. I went thro my CD cabinet and..walah..found that it is by Nicolas de Angelis. The first score is entitled La Esperanza. Hope JasAlf5959 got it.

I really like Penang.I have been there two times.I like because has beautiful Natural .Has a lot of fruit I really like durian, rambutan, can be seen from the trees everywhere.Has Chinese temple in everywhere and very beautiful.

@underoath115 You are most welcome. Penang is listed inscribed in UNESCO Heritage City and Langkawi for UNESCO Geo Park. Another interesting and most visited State is Melaka, about 3-4 hrs drive to Singapore. Melaka - UNESCO Heritage City.
It is very easy to go around Malaysia. Taking luxury express coach from Penang to Melaka costs very little. AirAsia Malaysia and Firefly Community Air are very cheap to fly around. Watch out for their frequent special offers. You'll be amazed.
I didn't have to get on the plane of Air Asia. It was enough to turn this video and I could take an unforgettable journey to Penang. See not only the colors of this place but also the historical heritage, richness of nature and everyday life.

Penang State is divided into 2 sections -. the Island (on Straits of Malacca) and the mainland ( Province Wellesley) a hinterland of 753 sq. km bordering Kedah State.
However, as you've said correctly, this image represents whole of Penang.
There are other places of interests which were not shown on this video due to time limit given by YouTube.
