In order to get to this phase of this playing BTW you do have to understand the basics first. Also Ron doesn't always play like this....you should see him play for Flying lotus with his brother Steven. DEEP Pocket stuff.

@3rudymora But out of fairness, both Tommy and Travis are great in the environment they play in. Stick Ronald in a Rock environment, and it probably wouldn't come out the same. He adds a lot of notes, which would be kind of busy in Rock. But saying all of that, Ronald is my Favorite!

total props to ronald... billy cobham was my fave fusion drummer from the 70's and ronald has take the torch to the next mountain top..... if you haven't already, check out the master billy c. and then watch all of ronald's videos... the tradition continues...great energy inspires more energy and it's great to hear these tasteful grooves and perfect 64th notes played seamlessly.

RBJr is a great drummer but I don't think I have ever seen and heard someone rip off someones style and sound so much. I'm not talking influenced were talking complete sound, style of music, and drum set up... The bass player sounds just like Stanley Clarke, do you think that's a coincidence ????
