Hello!!!.. i know a few people already asked you this!!! but i really want to do this show next year, but i cant find it anywhere!!! would you know what excalty i would have to go about to find this show and to be able to produce it??!! where i can find the rights and all that good stuff?..please help me out if you can!!
Fantastic! The lighting was the only thing that bothered me... but the acting (especially Wadsworth) were really good!! I bet you guys drew in a massive crowd with that play
this is really good! my school is thinking about doing clue and i really hope that they do. but i have a question. who wrote this script? i want our school to do the movie version like this.
okay so you guys literally just used the movie script? because thats what i figured, but my director wanted me to find out if anyone had done an actual stage transcription
It's a recording played over the speakers. We ripped it directly from the movie and made different loop tracks from it, then ran everything through our sound board. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
i see that there is a chandiler on the floor, what type of mechanism did you use to make it fall? also, do you know what type of gun you used in this production?
We just have little plastic fake cap guns. The chandeliers are simply on pulleys that are tied down backstage. Crew would untie them to let them fall.
lol I didn't think you were ripping on me. it's not like i needed the movie to memorise the lines, but as an actor anything that's makes anything easier for you is a welcome relief.
I'm an actor too, as a matter of fact I must confess. My monologue for a play was this part in the movie. I did it without error but didn't get a part in the play. It's tough trying to be an actor.
omg little wolfgang! i remember sitting with him at lunch in 7th grade and constantly discussing his sexuality and trying to gracefully quench his curiosity about menstruation
MPHS, nice job! Could you post more? Interested in your set design and stage dimensions. Also, who did you pay royalties to? We are looking to do the show ourselves and have a transcript, but not the rights. Ask your director if you don't know yourself. Thanks alot! And again, GREAT JOB!!!
Yeah, having 9 rooms on one stage where everyone has to clearly see every room is insanely difficult. It's a very hard production to put on mainly because of the set you have to build.

Why are movies funnier when they are a play.

The dude in the lead isn't as funny as he thinks he is.

The actor playing Wadsworth is amazing(Y). The British accent is sooo good, is it your/his natural accent or is it put on. x

Yeah, t's just the movie script.
Solar2 2 years ago
Not Google. If it can be found on Google, it's probably our script!
Roybq 2 years ago
The script for the movie can be found on google. That's the script we used.
Solar2 2 years ago
Our script had stage directions on it. It was adapted for the stage, but you can tell in spots where it used to be the original movie script.

Is it possible the actor playing Wadsworth watched the movie until he could recite them by heart, instead of reading his lines.
incrediblehulkmovies 2 years ago
Haha, no I didn't do that. Actually I ripped the audio from that part of the movie and put it on my Zune and listened to it a bunch. It helped. lol
Solar2 2 years ago
Wow, an actual reply from the actor himself. It's like ripping on mike tyson and not realizing he's right next to you.
This is weird.

which ending did you use?

We used different endings on different nights. But on the last night we did all the endings back to back. It was great. :)

I believe our diirector got the rights from Paramount pictures or something. You don't have to pay for it, but you do need permission.
Solar2 3 years ago
any idea who they got permission from...we called them today and they shot us down right away

Great job! The sound-cues were a bit loud, making it hard to hear the lines.
a185545 3 years ago
I'm pretty sure that's just the recording. The sound cues were fed directly into the camera as well as over the speaker system. But thanks!
Solar2 3 years ago
That would make sense.
a185545 3 years ago
yeah... I originally had the plan to turn down the sound cues, but I never found the time...
