This place is cruel and illegal! The tigers aren't free at all. This is a business pure and simple. The monks are making a ton of money off of unsuspecting tourists. The monks are full of crap when they say the tigers have adapted peaceful ways... they are beaten into submission, just like most animals in Thailand. Please don't support this place until they get legal. Thailand signed the CITES treaty, yet do nothing about illegal operations (businesses) such as this place.
Well, monks get caught doing all sorts of things... including bringing prostitutes to temples, getting caught gambling and all sorts of other things. In other words, they're just as human as anyone else. There is no logical excuse for them not to even try to get legal and to PROVE that they are indeed interested in learning the best way to care for their captives.
Sorry, but how do you know what a tiger would do if it was out of the cage? Are you an expert in tiger behavior? I don't mean to sound confrontational, but the tigers are prisoners here and even though they might have it better here than other places, this place is still operating illegally!

its really a beautiful work what these monks are doing to help protect the tigers. But one must realize that these are wild animals, that means they have no attachments to humans, and can attack anytime they wish too. IT is good to be cautious, not smart to take the tiger for a stroll on the market as if it was a dog, not very smart thing to do!

This is such a false portrayal of this place. They are NOT allowed to roam free in the Temple grounds!!!
They are chained to the ground, and sedated in rediculously hot conditions while tourists are paraded all over them.
