In places like Tamilnadu they give professional training in learning these raagas. many people learn it right from their childhood days to ensure full knowledge about the stuff. if you listen to "raagas dance" by AR Rahman, you'll get to know more

ARUN is exactly right.. After listening to JTYJN and GHAJINI, I was disappointed and I compared those albums with RANGEELA.... In RANGEELA everything was NEW and UNUSUAL...

But there was nothing like that either in Ghajini or in JTJYN...

Then came the answer..SLUMDOG MILLIONARE.. Which I happily compared with RANGEELA...ANd found that LIKE RANGEELA... SDM is ALL NEW and UNUSUAL...

The SAME THING.... The SAME.... BGM is used in ATM... But ARR composed dis for SDM first.... He found a good chemistry in the situation in ATM with the tune.. So used in ATM..
