  • last i saw carvers didnt have rounded windows plus were would someone randomly pull out that it is made by BMW if you dont believe the video author go to google and search "bmw clever concept car"

  • its a CARVER! and unless BMW has bought the company, (which I doubt) it has nothing to do with them.

  • there weren't any explosions, and by mythbuster's definition, it failed the test. I don't know how anyone can answer this question o.O

  • @JSAirways... not every vehicle ...custom builds dont have to be crash tested...but ignoring that stage of development would be fatal to the whole exercise for a planned mass rollout surely...

  • Very good, for the driver. Remind me never to put anything but groceries in the back seat though... unless you can get a driver to go for the idea of putting an explosive behind their head so the passenger can have an air bag too. :)

  • I remeber the Lean Machine at Epcot Center around 1982 or 83. I was about 10 years old at the time. I'll never forget that video. Good memories.

  • What's important to remember is that Carver stole it from General Motor's lean machine from 1980's.

    At this point in time who should really care who's designed it. Our planet is melting before our eyes so, hats off to any one that can get it to market and fast.

  • The BMW "design" is stolen from the Carver! It was invented and made here in Holland by a company called VanderBilt! Why are BMW and the university of Bath and Bla,bla,bla,bla ,blab preteding to have inveted this? Idiots!

  • I don't think they are trying stealing it I think they're using this design because their interested in using this car design to sell as well. Don't tell me you wanted only one carmaker to make the Carver design did you? Because then we would have to wait forever to get more on the road, so I'm glad theirs more then on car designer building this type of car it tells my I might have a chance to get one after all. Of coarse I'm going to buy the Original carver design thou

  • It is a BMW; they've been developing a similar vehicle to the Carver with the University of Bath (UK) - google it
