Good Lord people, Jockeys is not the reason meerkat manor was canceled! And you know what, they need more horse shows on animalplanet!! Meerkat lovers and dog lovers aren't the only people that watch AnimalPlanet! They cut out the horse shows, Trail Mix, Horse Power, everything! So please, bring back at least one show about them! I'm getting sick of Pit Boss and Dogs 101 -___-

LOL ok I have been around racehorses my whole life, and trust me, the life of a jockey is definatly not that dramtic. If you just take out the drawn out drama, it does outline their lives well, though.

p.s. to the people that say horse racing is cruel: Horse racing is notr cruel, the owners and trainers don't spend all this time and money to abuse the horses, and they care a lot about them.

Some people think horse/greyhound racing is a form of abuse (when some are pumped with steroids so the greedy owner can win the big prize, and not to mention when they fall :/ )

AP cancelled great shows like "Chimp Eden" and "Orangutan Island" for this crap!!!!

I think "Horse Racing" is a form of Animal Cruelty.

All AP is now is about dogs, animal attack shows, and freaky animals.

I would prefer "meerkats" too!!!!

Although I agree that there are certain circumstances when racing is very cruel to the animals, there are also the respectable owners, jockeys, and trainers who take care of their horses and treat them like they should be treated. I love going to the races, but as the owner of 3 former racehorses I do know the cruelties that can happen in the business. I think this show is a great way to show a sport that not many people understand.

A horse can't race at its best unless its at its healthiest, and no drug will ever be able to mask sickness to get the win. Big Brown proved that in the triple crown when a simple quarter crack caused him to loose.

I'm not saying some people don't do it, because I know they do. Bad apples are in all barrels. But seriously. At the very least, a horse can't make money unless its healthy. Trainers NEED their horses to be healthy. And thats it

I think Animal Plantet WAS one of the best channels on TV, I loved to watch on David Attenborough and simmilar programs, but I HATE to see crap like this. This does not belong on animal planet, Wow they ride on horses, yippey yay how lame. I want to learn and enjoy watch on animals, not to see animal cruelty like this and on Animal Cops.

No offence to Jockey lovers I just dont see why it has to be on Animal Planet.
