Take a look at the 2.0 version trailer if you want as it's the real thing right now. If you like want to take it for a ride to see if it fits you, you have a lite version too, WITHOUT ads.
@dunkelgeist Well I tried out the game a few min ago and I do not like it. I hate the one touch gameplay. I would rather have complete control of the character.
@HetsuProcyon I don't think they worry at something like ChocoRun. Super Meat Boy is a legendary game, nothing less. So it's not at any risk by Choco on any platform, but if they refuse to release an ios version... why not trying to achieve the same experience when far from your console/pc? Take this as a tribute game for my favourite game of all time.
@iDoiStuff Well it's a long story, It was made on CoronaSDK on a Virtual Machine running OSX Snow Leopard on Windows... Sounds complicated? It was! My MAC machine burnt out almost at the end of the development process so I got to use my PC with some tricks xD
@Scykei I'm so sorry but there are no more codes left for the actual version, Apple only gives me 50 for every version I release. But TODAY a new version will be submitted so expect improvements and more codes in a week or so ;-) Codes will be given from TouchArcade forums, so keep an eye on Choco there!
@dunkelgeist when yours gets into the app store will it run on ipods as well as there is one other game made with lime that dose not work on ipods i was going to buy and test it out :S so i guss i am now waiting for your game if its going to be on ipods as well?
@mutleyz We'll I don't have an iPod Touch to test it but from what I know, what works on an iPhone works on an iPod Touch. iPad version will come with the first update and if the App Store treat us well, there will be an Android version too. PM me with your email and I'll send you a promo code to get it free when game is out, so you can tell the world there's no problem on iPod Touch with a little rate and comment, deal? ;-)
@mutleyz Take notice that ChocoRun uses Lime but just to mark the positions of the level objects, no graphics performance involved with that (I don't use any tile at all), everything else is coded in Lua directly.
