its cuz its an easy enough part to play and sing at the same time and really in the non acoustic version zachs part is really fast during the chorus and they have a ton of songs two remember imagine how hard it would be to remember both parts of all of them so just convenience

Uhh... Zach hadn't been in GWAR for 5 years. He left in '02. I fail to see how that's going from GWAR to Rise Against, especially when Zach actually had two bands in between. He was in Only Crime just before Rise Against.

zach is much better than chris imho. chris always fucked solos a little and zach plays them perfectly without that what you call "focus". his stage presence is really cool and he gives ra some fresh energy

yea chris left the band because the touring became to much for him, now zach blair plays guitar in Rise Against. Chris was damn cool though, he was just focused on stage, not boring. Zach seems like a cool guy to me too.
