  • o my goodness! i'm just sitting in my flat off the portobello road green with envy.. never see stunning cars like that in london~i'd loved to have lived in america in the 50s~60s :] with money of course.

  • A stunner! Love the color and the wheels are perfect on that one. :-)

  • I got wood ! I got wood !!!! I just cam. In my pants a little

  • @usabadone --that sounds like a personal issue, no need to embarrass yourself in front of everyone. Thanks for watching!

  • @usabadone ...You should go make a deposit at a sperm bank! ....At least you'll get paid for it!

  • Vfccgcb

  • Yeah so nice that car, i have one myself but a Cadillac 1960 Sixty-Two Hardtop coupe , check my page, not so good video like yours tho :)

  • @Eddiem1969 OMG! Your car is AMAZING!! I truly envy car restorers and the patience they have-- she's an absolute beauty!

  • niccceee well recently I have seen this car is a very different world sort of post apocalyptic, interesting to see this stunning example without the mud and dust.

now look at that curved windscreen, thats style which you just don't get today

looks like metal was in high supply when this car was designed!

  • @leokimvideo in a 'Road Warrior' sort of way? Oh, how I envy you, Mr. Leo!!

You can't tell me they still can't put out magnificent beasts like this anymore (with all the fancy-shmancy technology going on today)-- albeit updated with lighter materials and an updated engine... the whole thing is, they were meant to last-- an investment. Today, it's all disposable living.

  • @CoffeeKvetch the show purchased a number of these cars, all were is horrid condition and they became another beast of a vehicle, but you can still see the beauty of the Cadillac.

As I saw this car in pieces it is amazing to see the way steel was used to excess in every aspect of this vehicle, the dash board is a great example, more metal it it than most cars of today.

Vehicles like this really make a statement, and are a great peep into the way the world was in the late 50's early 60's.

  • @leokimvideo -- most things were made (once upon a time) to 'last'... there was a time when folks invested in one car, one home, one job...

It must've been wonderful to immerse that deeply into these vehicles, Leo-- there's actually a Mini with our names all over it waiting for restoration, and I can't wait till we've actually got the time to do it.

  • Beautiful Caddy.......nice find!

  • @RamblinAround, hey thanks! This car show comes around every year... small, but worth a look. Thanks for watching & subscribing! Cheers!
