Apollo bike are AWFUL. Seriously, parents watching this go to your local bike shop and get one there! Your money deserves to go local bike shops not these mega shops flogging you utter cheap rubbish. They look "cool" but for practicality they are useless crap.
@theriderdude666 Apollo are great for the car industry, it get kids thinking that their nasty experience with these bikes will eventually get them a car that they will use it even for the most meaningless of trips, even for less than 100 yard. When they grow old, they get fat, then looking back, they realised that they wished their parent got them a better bike.
Appalling video Halfords. Full of untrue facts. Apollo, the UK's #1 Budget Brand. I'm constantly fixing bikes purchased by friends and family from Halfords that simply don't work and need everything adjusting. Non-existent PDI's.
@MrJonnyJones It is based on the volume of sales, as Halfords has more stores than any other bicycle retailer and as such Halfords sells one third of all new bikes sold in the UK every year, and as most of the volume of bikes they sell are under £250 then by the volume of sales, Apollo is the UK's no 1 bike brand based on sales, which is why Halfords can say that.
How anyone can associate the word "Quality" with an Apollo bike is beyond my comprehension. Notice how the wheel stops spinning after 3 seconds due to the rear brake incorrectly set-up rubbing on the rim.
Apollo may be the "number 1 bike brand" but that ranking is based purely on sales, not on customer satisfaction. The reason they are the "number 1" is because they are also the cheapest bike brand in the UK. In this case, you DO get what you pay for.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL have a laugh the wheel spins then stops after 2 seconds wow halfords you suck
