Fab! I LOVE Ms. Roj (arah-oh-jay, Roj!). Thanks for doing this and valuing this beautiful dialogue. I first saw it when I was 16 and coming out, it was lovely to see someone else going through it, too!
Well, this was unexpected... Nice change! And another very good job indeed! Bravo! It's 3.30am my time and I have been here for a good while and enjoying every minute and I see there's more in store yet! Yup, you should consider street theatre and also cabaret... Way to go!
Brilliant. I found a degree of humor in the performance and was even reminded of almost any role with Harvey Firestien (sp??). I think it was just the grizzley / gritty voice but I still loved it. The moment where you got to the "Snap Queens" was just great. Keep up all the work you do.
I'm not familiar with "The Colored Museum" but I am now inspired to find out more. Craig, you have a rare talent. Street theater - I love it. Well done.
Craig, at your age you already did a good job! Keep it up! I hope when you're successful, remember to give thanks to God and I hope you'll also dream of training the kids in Camden,NJ area - I'm sure you'll make a difference.
Craig, one day we will see you on Broadway or in some film. I hope you would continue to perform and someone great comes along and gives you that miracle start!
I hope this monologue and the Hamlet monologue are your contrasting pieces you use in auditions because they both are AMAZING! I do Normal Jean Reynolds monologue fromt The Colored Museum. It's a great play. You are definately a star baby!!
I just watched your Hamlet and was quite impressed . . . then came here and BLOW ME AWAY! I actually stood up from the couch and gave you a private standing ovation. Had tears welling in my eyes. Keep up the great work Craig and break a leg!
OMG... The Colored Musaum is seriously one of my favorite plays. I was having honestly one of the worst days ever and watching this video made me feel so much better. Keep doing your thing and I hope to see you soon somewhere making it big.
Haha, this was actually my favourite of your performances - this really shows your versatility as an actor. Great stuff, my friend, and I hope reach the heights your talent deserves.
If someone does not discover you then something is wrong with the industry. You are a breath of fresh air. Being a performer myself, I know what love of acting is. I am so happy you are not wasting your talent. God bless you.
Thank you Craig. I take care of 2 sick people and I need a moment to relax and forget sometime; and you just "transported" me magically. Thank you, and I think I'll be seeing your name again in the future. Good Luck!
YAY CRAIG!!!! However, you are making it even more difficult to attempt to take your place at school. lol But I'm happy to see you doing great things as always ^_^
WOW! That's impressive! You really sound like an aged african woman, with a rebel spirit that never died out, with a voice raggad from smoking and living out loud. Awesome!
This is my favorite vid so far, Craig. You are the real deal...your voice, your mannerisms, your timing, your inflections...and, again, your awesome diction..keep 'em comin'...I'm setting up a folder just for your work!
the voice is done well, very convincing. Most men make their voices too squeaky and high pitched when they pretend to be a woman. But this voice clearly shows that this is probably an aged african american woman.
this was strangely good i was surprised lol
