@xMandalorex Its though a custom firmware plugin called Remote Joy, that program opens a window that allows me to record the screen with Fraps. This program also allows you to use any PC controllers to play your psp games.

i have a psp 3000 v. 6.60 with a custom firmware Pro B-9

and downloaded the iso of this tenchu time of the assasins game

but i notice that i cant save mission editor i made. everytime i press save the game just paused. i try to wait an hour hoping to see a save notification to pop up but nothing appeard

the wierd thing is i can save normally on the main story mode but everytime b4 the mission the text on the character dialogue box is colored white and small. is the iso file corrupt?

on tenchu 2 tatsu vs jubei was a lil hard. you got a guy with to big swords coming at you full speed it took me like 3 try's. they should make a remake of tenchu 2 thums up if you agree.

@gamer42399 I remeber every step i did with this game, it IS one of the best games ive ever played. The battles were intense, the story was great and the soundtrack is fantastic. Too bad that the series is downfalling after the newest tiles (I hate Tenchu 4...), but it would be nice to see a remake of the first two PS1 games (Like, retuning with the old gameplay style with a few things from the PS2 mechanics).

@PSPStealth i know i agree they should make a remake of tenchu 1&2 the tenchu 2 story line was the best out of all of them but it was not a fighting game. you had to use the rooftops. the only time you should fight is boss battle's.

@Saiyuki2o4 Just like Silent hill (PS1) and many other game back in the day, N64 and PS1 was a long time ago. It was acceptable back then because systems lacked power. Now a days this sort of thing is not acceptable, there are far too many games that prove that the psp can handle better graphics and draw distance.

To be fair, the cutscenes themselves are retarded, too. Onikage's ending has Rikimaru

1) lose track of Yuge when he's RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM

2) announce himself to an unaware opponent

Not to mention they resurrected Tajima so Rin could murder and THEN interrogate him.

I love this game but it gets extremely silly at times...

Yeah, Rikimaru acts like he never had a Ki Metter or any other Ninja Skills on Onikage's storyline. But i think the chessiest moment is when some of the bosses are about to die. But the huge set of characters (i still miss the WoH bosses..) and the mission editor with more options makes me play this game alot of times.

I heard that the japanease version tells a diferent story then the european version, but i cant tell if its truth since i cant speak or read on japanease.

Weird, because there are Tenchu games with both types of projectiles.

Yes to both.

The mission editor is sweet, not only does it let you create your own stages, but it also allows you to edit the pre-existing ones.

Also, PSP games aren't region locked.

It's been a while since I played Tenchu 2 but, from what I recall, Tenchu PSP's editor is better.

Plus, you can save as many missions as you want in your memory stick, and import other people's missions, too!

@HDTutorialsForYou Actualy, a Joystick for the PSP doesnt exist. I used Remotejoy to play my PSP games with my Controler, that is pluged on my PC.

@BuckFastZombie You must have been using jpcsp, but the problem still that all the PSP emulators for the PC are still on alpha stage, but i use a CFW program for the PSP called Remote Joy Lite so i can capture ingame footage with Fraps and convert it to be a HD video for Youtube.

No problem, I used to do this move alot against my friends on wrath of heavens multiplayer mode. Im very pleased that they included Tatsu and some of the previous Cast of Bosses and Enemies from the past few games with their own stealth kills and extra abilities.

Unfortunatly Instant Kill abilities have been taken out from the main characters.

But there is still some of the normal abilities that can be executed in this game.

There isnt any cheats for this game, but getting items is all about trying to get a grand master rank on 1 of the 8 stages of any of the main characters storys. I have to say im not sure if there really isnt any cheat for this game since i never had to cheat. But If you are really deprerate to use cheats for this game, then use "cw cheat" for CFW PSPs, you may find some items cheats with it.

Best quality vid I've seen so far for this game, and first time I've heard it in English too. If you don't know his combos feel free to ask. You can cancel out of his thrust with his pummel but I bet you knew that one already. He's got very good juggling ability too. If you're good enough you can hit with the first part of his thrust and cancel to the pummel and guarantee it out of the air. Lotsa work though for a psp.

Lolz, it's funny sometimes when the boss along with their allies fight against you, but they sometimes get in each other's way, they end up attacking each other...I remembered those times back when I played Tenchu 2 XD Especially when the Azuma Ninja Village was under attack...The old man helped me out too but he died T.T

This Reminds me of years ago, when i was trying to beat that stage, a blad burning dawn ninja saw me wile i was trying to sneak towards him, the old man azuma assisted me wile i attempt to lose the ninja. I ended up in the roof and that old man was still attacking, the ninja just doesnt seems to care about an old man trying to slashing him to death and keep woundering where did rikimaru went. he ended up dead after a few slashes from the old guy, activating a cutscene afterwards.

It must have pain for Rikimaru to see their loved ones die by the hands of the Burning Dawn or by its own brother Tatsumaru. And after all those events he ended up as a Selfish Ninja filled with Hatred againt everyone that is considerated a danger to Gohdas Lands, as Suzaku/Onikage said in the middle of his last chapter on Tenchu 2 and in Tenchu 4.
