@bgbroc we dont have a great number of english players however we developed quite a few great english players. tony adams, ian wright, sol campbell, ashley cole & walcott. i dont like the way you use the word coloured. white is also a colour and we have plenty of 'white'' players so lets stop being racist and use appropriate words in replacement. im not a bias supporter and i acknowledge that penalty shouldnt be approved but was eduardo's dive intentionl or not only himself will know.

if the player dives he is cheating...this is all down to lack of respect for refs. trying to decieve and what-not...diving is a clear sign of a weaker player...if you dont have the skills to put the ball into the net in the first place then u shouldnt be on the park...and if you have to dive in order to do so then expect media hounding and hatred your way...its just what happens

2. there are more exaggerated fouls than dives. a dive is most of the time visible, but players tend to cry wolf when they are fouled, so that the ref calls it.
3. every sport has its cheaters. by saying diving has only recently occurred in US basketball is naivety on your part.

Yes there was some slight contact AFTER he started his dive. He was clearly expecting more contact but the goalkeeper did a great job stopping this. You should be embarrassed but, of course, you are not. In a court of law he would be found guilty - there is no reasonable doubt.

I would have no argument was it not for the embellished way in which he fell. Losing your footing is one thing but the way he threw himself down looked as if he had just been shot in the back.
