the one i have is rather like a djembe, except it has tuning pegs sticking out of it. mine is from the Irie Tones company - it was made in Africa, but i bought it in Idaho. Afrodesign Studios sells more fancy ones - Afrodesign Studios has those really cool clay udus and other drums you took a look at online awhile back. Irie Tones has some pretty good drums too.
