I bought a static miny and I was really dissapointed the grain and abberation was extremely noticable. I took out the custom gg and replaced it with a canon ee-a focusing screen. So i pretty much paid $99 for a tube and gg holder.
I should really stop complaining haha now that I think about it after buying the adapter then buying a motor for it to vibrate and new focusing screen $140 isnt bad for a decent 35mm adapter. The vibrating model is better but the gg that miny puts in their adapters gives off a nasty spiral effect when it vibrates. nothing a $30 canon ee-a screen wont fix though.
That's not at all bad, especially when you think about the cost of a Letus for example. I've been fortunate because I've not yet had any problem with a spiral effect.
Thank you, one came up for sale on Ebay and it seemed to offer more control over the image with its 3 ccds and native 16:9 aspect ratio than consumer HD cameras in the same price range.
It's getting there. The adaptor definitely works, I could not get a similar shallow depth of field with my camera on its own. It takes a bit of trial and error to work out the best settings and lighting with a DOF. Stay tuned to this playlist and I'll post up a more detailed video on the topic.

The vibrating model must be far superior. It's a shame it was a waste of money for you, but I hope you learned something from the experience.
