I believe that out-of-game, they have a wonderful love relationship, a lot more kawaii than any other hetero couple out there.

Wow, amazing how time flies. I forgot their lips don't move, yet because the voice acting is so phenomenal, it somehow didn't matter.

I remember hearing about MGS for the first time a long time ago. I was 12 years old at the time. I asked my mom to rent it from Blockbuster for me (hah, rental stores - soon those will be gone too!). She then brought me back MGS: VR Missions. I was a bit confused. So yea, turns out, she got the wrong game... My first experience with Metal Gear was VR missions...

Because Snake needs Otacon alive and he can't fight for shit, he needed to stay hidden. Also otacon's leg is injured so he can't even run. Snake has the skills to make it through just fine without the camo. He probably would have gotten one but Otacon had five prototypes and four were missing, which you find out when Snake takes the elevator.

Couldn't agree more. I mean come on, with the insane quality we have now? Remaking MGS with even the most epic graphics wouldn't stretch much hardware. Saying that, they did make Twin Snakes for the GC. But from what I can tell, they re-recorded all the speech, and also took out this music. Any remake should be identical bar the insane graphics and maybe slightly different viewpoint and level size.

David Hayter said in a interview that he made Snake's voice gradually gravelier as Snake grew older. In this game he's really young, so his voice is a bit different from mgs 2 and 4 :)

The Music was the same. The graphics owned the original. The MGS2 controls made TTS MUCH EASIER. You can't use First person mode and shoot at the same time. It was more of a challenge. While TTS have better controls and the graphics are awesome, the original is better musically, and, I don't know exactly how to put it into words, but the original is kind of more emotional, which is a good sign (except for Grey Fox's death, I prefer the TTS version than the original on this). Also, as you said, Snake is a human. He can't surf on missiles like Dante. But I agree with Michaelfender about the voice acting. I prefer TTS' voice acting.

There's a reason the original was better. If you want to know why, watch my videos. They're about an interview with Jeremy Blaustein, the man who made MGS what it was for the American audience. He translated the script into English, and, despite difficulties, supervised and directed the voice acting. His script was changed for TS, and he didn't have anything to do with the voice sessions for TS. He was thrown aside by Kojima because Kojima felt that Blaustein changed too much of the script.
