Moin Ralf, superschöne Demo. Ich spiele einen verranzten Engl Straight über ne Kitty Hawk Box.Der Sound an sich ist super (mein" Sound - brauch also keine Verstärkersimulation), ich such neben externen EQ im Loop, auch noch 2-3 Effekte, mehr brauch ich nicht. Da ich knapp bin, wirds wohl kein Replifex von Rocktron werden(:D). Da kleine Ding scheint ja ganz amtlich zu sein. Ich kann damit 50 eigene Presets speichern, is das soweit richtig?Werde es dann mal beim Shop meines Vertrauens testen.

I bought this the other day. It is pretty confusing. I tried playing this video (which is great) as I had my RP90 in front of me. I followed the instructions for the tone library and effects library copying the video. Then at 1:20 of the video the display changes to read "1 1". Mine does not display that so everything else after is moot.

Can you tell me what happens after those effects are set and prior to the video "jump" that then displays the "1 1"?

@JakeGrey1 That is not too complicated but noone can save you reading the manual....the section is pretty compact. All it is to do is to choose a parameter which you want to assign, then assign it to the pedal and save that new assigend function to the preset. Pls do consider that the process varies from parameter to parameter slightly so I cannot write it down in here

@Sk8erguy1996 yes sure that way you get a proper stereo image on the effcts too...use one with less than 100Ohms so you can get a proper volume

@ykeab94 That is a wah effect being activated. It must be in the preset I can not remember programming one.

Thje effect is a classic one...whenever you push the pedal forwards the tone of your guitar says wah...so toe position is a bright glassy tone while the heel position of the pedal is a dark throaty tone...by moving between those two positions you get the Wah effect. There are presets which have this effect in them but yopu can activate the wah with any sound in the RP

@xXMUurTXx The RP90 does not have a feature where you can record directly to a PC....with the RP90 you must use a audiointerface (maybe the one from your PC). When you look at the RP155 you get all that and much more

The song "Map of the Problematique" by Muse uses an effect that i know the digi whammy pedal can re-create by connecting it to a computer which the rp90 cant do. would it worth having another whammy pedal?

@mynameisnotneil You can really compare a pedal which has the Whammy effect as a feature with the original Whammy pedal which is more expensive than the RP btw.

What you hear on that Muse song is a Whammy pedal...it could very well be a pitch shifter which is assigned to a curve like a sinus or triangle generated by a oscilator. When you know assign the pitch to it and set standard and one octave above and play a powerchord you get this effect depending on how fast you let the curve oscillate

@Julianuribe23 I assume you refer to your amplifier when you say switch channels. The Rp is not able to switch an external device, but you can use the poweramp in of your amplifier or use it with a clean sound and produce any changes in tone (distorted clean cruch etc) by changing presets on the RP....this works well for most of the users out there

@kaskas55 Actually without trying to sound like a smartass - I say trz both and pick whatever sounds best. The factorys advise is using amp because it will delete the speaker simulation on the presets....even if you avoid using the preamp you still use the speaker of that amp so you dont need a simulation
