just for record on the chart the notes at say around 0:32 how theres 3 at a time then another 3 held down... the held down notes are not like that at all he plays seperate strums for each one like da, da da da da da... its in 3/4 time so it would be one note one rest 5 notes for 2 measures of music...

There's a lot of talk about concerning the expected response of this song being on the next GH. You should keep in mind that Activision doesn't care about teaching people good music or exposing fame deserved (or not deserved) bands as much as attracting fans of several genres and getting more sales. I knew Eagles - Hotel California was going to be on the next GH (awesome), but learning that this and ATDI One Armed Scissor were going to be on it as well has made me want the game a LOT more now.

Of course there could be a couple diffrent reactions. From trying to expose some of my friends to Mars volta i've learned a couple ways on how they might not like them.1 They have a stereo-typical taste for bad music.- Two-They're too dumb to udnerstand the lyrics and prefer not to like them just cause they don't know what they're saying. And if they do actually like them they will totally have a diffrent opinion of the band as in not knowing what they sing about and all that.

Well Popularity wise its not bad at all. However, people might not understand the music. First of all I have no idea how you could understand their lyrics hearing them the first time(I coudln't) even if you do the song a ton of times. So a person could think anything of amrs volta. Even if a ten year old went on the website and checked out the lyrics, I don't think there would be much understanding to the story/album.

That track listing that comes up in iTunes is wrong. The first four tracks of the CD are the first four songs (Cygnus/Widow/L'via/Miranda) and then tracks 5-12 are all Cassandra Gemini, making it around 32 minutes long. CG is not split up on its movements at all...

The longest songest in the casscandra gemini part is tantrarism. but thats only about 7mins. all together i think they are about 20minutes.
