If Margaret Thatcher was so bad what did the councils do with the money when you brought your house .They wasted it . so please leave margaret thatcher alone every body was far better off under her goverment.

"Bad luck is what it boils down too"? Are she serious? Everyone needs a home to live in! The real reason for homelessness in the UK is the fact the Margaret Thatcher sold off most of the council housing stock cheaply & since then NO government has even attempted to build affordable rented housing! What they have done though is to change its name from Council Housing to Social Housing in an attempt to stigmatize it even more & make those of us you live in it feel even lower than we actually are!

As a former rough-sleeper myself, I have created a video where I to try to show that someone that you may see sleeping rough is still a human being and shouldn't be just written off, as they so commonly are, as beyond help or hope.

Get together with people and find a squat. Its getting more difficult, but possible.
I give to the homeless, but feel very reluctant if they are totally wasted due to drugs and alcohol.
