@xhead246 And I'm saying that they drop tune in the studio to make it easier for Will to sing. Granted, they're a great band but they tune their instruments for him. He doesn't tune his voice for their instruments.
@metalman42006 i agree they do have pitch coreection but he actually has an amazing voice its just mandatory for aol sessions to autotune everyone they have on
they ARE good live. but just because sumone has pitch correction on there voice doesnt mean the notes will be perfect especialy in this case where its on the singers voice live and not pulled up to the perfect pitch like in a studio setting. iv been mixing and mastering for years now so its easy for me to pick up. its how i make my money my friend lol
@metalman42006 Although many like to claim that Will uses pitch correction, they're incorrect. There are quite a few spots in this video where he is a bit flat/sharp, and that certainly wouldn't happen if he was running the vocals through pitch correction. He's just a badass vocalist, with sometimes robotic timbre. It takes some getting use to, I know ;)
@scotlandcall and in addition to that, as a musician, it really helps me to be able to hear myself clearly when trying to stay on pitch. and he's using some pretty snazzy in ear stuff there.
@scotlandcall also if you check out some of cartel's other vids of them doing acoustic gigs with out mics he is still singing perfectly, hes pretty much a boss
