  • Beatles do this much better

  • @fasterthanbolt you gotta admit they did a good job though. i prefer the original, but this is still pretty damn good.

  • @zZIanFtwZz

Yes, I have to admit this is a good job. I've always enjoyed these guys' songs.

  • Song is crazy

  • Comment removed

  • @stupidrelaoded im jus messin with yah

  • @Beatlesmania737 i know i meant I was so surprised I forgot, I mean I watched it not a week ago lol

  • 1978..........wow.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, one of TWO good covers from the movie "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Search for Earth, Wind and Fire for the other...

  • 161 people stayed apart

  • I like the Aerosmith cover better

  • How old were they???!!!! Joe looks Young XDD

  • @XxiEatYurPantsXxX This was in the 70s.

  • Cool!! They should play this one on VH1 Classics!!!!!!!!!!

  • The more comments I read, the more degrading I get as I see how much the beatles have slipped on their grasp of young hearts.

  • @FrequentUnionTHEBAND you have to realize though the beatles inspired the movie in which this cover is in so all though it may look that way the fab four reign supreme

  • Idk maybe its just me but I think the Beatles were way over rated. I mean yea they were good but they were way over rated. Just my oppinion though

  • This movie sucked. But I went to see it 3 times just for this part. Give me a break, I was only 15!

  • Steven tyler is ever so fine.

Oh and the beatles suck ass.

  • @TanBarbieGirlxox

    amen !!!!!

  • This was movie? seriously?!!?!?! WTF I NEED TO RENT IT!!!!!!!

  • @KatyTHEprank You will be disappointed. This clip is the best part of the movie. My advice b/f renting get hammered so you can at least laugh your ass off.

  • Year?

  • @Plutten1994 The film came out in 1978.

  • Wow, this brings back memories of when I worked at the theater where this movie was playing. I timed my breaks so I could sit in on this part of the movie and thrill over Steven Tyler. It was even better on the big screen, believe me - he's such a bad boy!

  • @SugarSuprise this was a movie? DUDE! what's the name of it so i can look it up please!!!!

  • @HannahAFord18 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - starring George Burns, Peter Frampton, and The Bee Gees.

  • OMG! What a little treasure this is!

  • It's weird that this was originally offered to Kiss

  • @CorpseGrinder2010 Yep, i'm so glad they declined, lol....It's bad enough they did their own film!

  • Agree! What can't Steven Tyler sing! Aerosmith is the best band EVER!

  • those were the times when steven tyler did too much cocaine xD

  • @LeidseMorgueplein and his voice wasn't too bad, If you listen to dream on, you can't recognize his voice, impossible

  • @kobi005 well...Dream On is one of the classic tunes of Aerosmith...and I think you can perfectly recognize Steven in that song...but anyway, he said couple of years ago that there was a time in his life when he was taking 50% of the colombian economy through his nose xDDDDD so it´s normal that he doesn´t sing like he did in the times of "Rocks", but he´s still a great singer, in my opinion, the best in hard rock(together with Mercury and Rose).AEROSMITH ROCKS!!!!!

  • this isn't a rare clip this was in a movie and this was the only good part other then Alice Cooper showing up init too

.LOLBeeGees and peter Frampton lolololololololo sux !

  • @MegaRockstare Apparently, we are also here to comment on those "pussy-ass comments" in order to start a meaningless flame war. Seriously. The guys right.

  • This was the best part in the whole movie

  • @crakhed1995 I liked "Maxwell's Silver Hammer." But this is a close second.

  • The live version of, Come Together on AEROSMITH BOOTLEG LIVE, I feel is much better then the studio track. SGT. PEPPER was one the worst movies ever made, that film did kill the careers of Frampton & the Bee Gees'. If you weren't around back then you couldn't imagine how BIG the Bee Gees' were. They were the kings of disco.

  • one of the best Beatles covers ever! But... gosh I hate taking people to school...

OK. NOT very rare. As noted, this is from a movie that is out on DVD.

Second, "young Aerosmith"?? Really? 1978. They'd been a band since 1970, signed since '72, headlining stadiums in '75, Thats like saying "The White Album" is early McCartney or early Beatles. "Physical Graffiti" is early Zeppelin.

Great cover, nice post, but dude... do your homework. Get it right please.

  • Not sure if this was really the spirit of the song..

  • whats the name of the movie ?

  • @57smorth sergent peppers long hearts club band, it's from the 70's its on netflix!

  • @57smorth sergent peppers long hearts club band, it's from the 70's its on netflix!

  • @patfaram cause it is them lol

  • Crap movie, Brilliant Clip

  • The blonde guy that attacks Steven at the end looks like Peter Frampton. And the bearded guy climbing on the stage behind him looks like one of the Bee Gees. Can anyone verify?

  • @patfaram

This is from the 1978 movie "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band", starring, among others, Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees.

  • I think this is from that KISS movie.

  • @axltyler it's from sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band movie

  • Este video , si mas no me equivoco es parte de la pelicula "Sargent peppers lonely hearts club band , la version de Bee Gees & Peter Frampton

  • Im curious who those 3 men were in the video..There is a point in the vid were the band members are walking by and these 3 pictures of men are in the backround...Who knows who those men are?

  • @dbadboyisme I'm pretty sure the guy on the left is Alice Cooper, I'm sure the guy on the right is Steve Martin as "Dr. Maxwell Edison", the guy in the center plays the part of "Mean Mr. Mustard" I'm not sure who it is. The entire movie is posted on YouTube, I still have the original album, I've seen this movie many times (mainly for this Aerosmith clip)

  • fav Aerosmith song!

  • @LightBlueCheri It's not an Aerosmith song. It is originally by the Beatles. but they do a great job on it so its all good.

  • @wilby2400 hahahhah i know but i prefer their version!

  • fav areosmith song!

  • ruined the song

  • Steven and Joe look sooooo young!!!!!!

  • wow he was pretty hot when he was young

  • I looove that movie!

  • the fight looks REALLY WEIRD!!!!!!!!! but really great cover.

  • WHICH YEAR WAS IT?

  • I've seen the movie and if I wer strawberry I'd rip the cloth off my mouth and finish tht kiss withe steven tyler

  • steven tyler has the most amazing voice ever. he also rocks the good looks. pretty boss

  • aerosmith es mejor que los beatles

  • O man cum on Steven ur the good guy don't fail wait wait noooooooooooio

  • Noooooooooooo Steven died y :,(

  • This isn't young Aerosmith. This was shot in 77

  • @TheMullerFan since they formed in '70 and are still together today, I'd say it's safe to say something shot in '77 is young Aerosmith :)

  • @TheMullerFan

Ummm...not to burst your bubble, but 1977 was a long time ago. These guys were in their late twenties.

I would say that qualifies as young.

  • @knuteboy36 Shit man you really did burst my bubble. I've been living a lie.

  • wow! that's original!

  • 1:54-2:11

    DAMN! Steven is FUCKING HOT!

  • Peter Frampton beat up Steven Tyler. ha ha

  • One of the only Beatles remakes that is better..... Lucy in the sky another for me. Definitely only my opinion.

  • The headlines read BEE GEES beat up Aerosmith, ha whatever. Good stuff though, I remember this movie from way way waaaaaaay back.

  • One of only two bands - the other being Earth, Wind and Fire - to SURVIVE the "Sgt. Pepper" movie!

  • nooo you cant kill off steven tyler!!

  • 1.34 steven hold his balls lollll, adam lambert and elton john was going gay cause of him..

  • dumbasses just respect them steven tyler knows it was the beatles songs it was a tribute to him.

  • This is from the Sgt. Pepper Movie starring the BeeGees, Peter Frampton and Aerosmith. The movie is from the late 70's and Aerosmith did NOT write this.

  • OMGGGG I finally found out who wrote this song!!!! I heard the remixed version by nine inch nails called come togetehr vs. closer idk soudns oh so awesome to me

  • @versatileXlover the beatles?

  • awesome classic aerosmith...nothing wrong with the newer stuff either...just grew up with this stuff....

  • this cover give me the chills everytime....love both the beatles original and this one....but i like aerosmith´s cover most...not trying to say anything bad about the beatles cuz im a huge beatles fan too....in fact aerosmith should be the only band allowed to cover the beatles cuz they are the only ones that kick some serious ass doing it

  • i see steve martin, john huston? and alice cooper (or is it yanni?). peter frampton? a bee gee dude.

i hope this guy won something. it's got a james bond, salvador dali, and john waters thing going. how's that for name dropping?

  • @kinyia- I meant it killed Peter Frampton musically- well that and his following move releasing "im in you" Aerosmith is the only highlight in the movie. And if you are from that generation You HAD to hear Peter Frampton before SG. Pepper. He had the Frampton comes alive album out already.

  • Pretty good, just not as good as my Johnny belting it out so sexily.

  • The first time I saw this video I was like: NOOOOOOO!!!! At the end. Then I remembered it's from this movie which the title too long. Yeah if u understand the movie was horrible. But it was fun at the same time. I'm only 13 tho. I just wanna live the good life.

  • this cover always gives me chills

  • they're one of the ONLY bands who can cover a Beatles song and do it well

  • Aerosmith kicks the Beatles ass on this song. I like the whole soundtrack much better than the Beatles version.

The Beatles may have been great songwriters but I hate their voices. I like their artsy songs like Yesterday and Let It Be but for the most part, I think their voices were kind of shrill, especially for the rock songs.

  • @auntydale Aerosmith definitely kicks ass on this "cover"..... kicking the Beatles' ass? Nice try. lol

  • @funkster007

I figured that my comment would upset Beatles' fans. I just feel that Aerosmith is a better match for the funky lyrics. Except for a few songs, I just don't like the Beatles' voices.

  • @auntydale Nah, it didn't upset me at all. All in fun. I happen to love both versions. :)

  • what is this from??!!! =DD

  • @DirtyDancer12345

It's from a 1978 movie called Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It starred the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton, with George Burns doing the voice over. I heard that they did this because, after they started filming, they discovered that the boys couldn't act. Apparently, they were cast because of their fame and singing ability.

It wasn't a great movie but it's campy and fun. Plus, Aerosmith KILLS this song. John Lennon sounds like a girl in comparison.

  • seriously in real life Tyler would kick Frampton's ass.

  • @PepulzGuys Haha That's What I Said When I Was Watching The Movie XD

  • @PepulzGuys Aerosmith management fought the outcome of the fight saying the same thing....Frampton really doesnt kick his ass, he falls. Saw this in Ohio in theater when I was 15...........draw the line came out about the same time.

  • Damm look how YOUNG they were back then

  • don't know why people always put this movie down. i think it's awesome and i always loved it.

  • im sure steve tyler hit lower points , but getting thrown off stage by peter (twiggy) frampton must have taken some topping

  • This is a good video but it's not rare. It is from SG. Pepper. One thing this did was launch aerosmith even further., but killed Peter Frampton and almost the Bee Gees. one of the the latter '70's oops moments.

  • @penguin7776 really? i thought they did very well in this movie?? in fact i never heard of peter frampton til i watched this movie(though im from this generation-_-) how did it kill them?

  • @kinyia7 The movie was a flop. And if you check out framptons history "comes alive" finally launches him into stardom. This movie and the combination of his next album "im in you" which was a bad choice since he was known for kick ass guitars. Nearly killed his career. And likewise the Bee Gees who started getting a lot of recognition for vocals and dance music (phase 2 for them), did this movie. Wasn't a good move at all.

  • Amazing movie and song and band! LOVE IT! This movie was a big part of my life when i was younger.

  • Plain out amazing

  • This film looks really bad!

  • Remember when Steven Tyler fell off the stage?

  • i love how joe changes his voice everytime he sings. its so adorable

  • Its from the Movie Sgt Pepper. They were FVB the Future Vilain. Band. The movie also had songs from Alice Cooper and Steve Martin. It starred the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton. Also George Burns doing a Beatles song

  • I LUV THE BEATLES AND AEROSMITH

  • and this is not rare its on pandora's box disc and how do i know that i own the disc or you meant the video

  • @T3bb56 i believe he meant he video and i have the CD's too lol ^^

  • GREATEST rock band, EVER!!!!!!!!!

  • they are great young or old

  • this is good quakity for this time

  • You should hear the band PREACHER STONE doing Come Together - off their new CD "Uncle Buck's Vittles. Their version is wicked! Especially the end of the song! check it out

  • @VanZantRox Not so much. music is dead on but the vocals just aren't quite there. Something missing or perhps just the wrong type of voice

  • joe perry looks so young in this video

  • Aweww he died

  • SPLHC

  • I THINK THIS WAS THE LAST VIDEO THEY DID BEFORE JOE LEFT FOR 5 YEARS

  • @MegaAeroforce1 My brother was a bartender where Joe Perry used to play (in The Joe Perry Project). My brother used to hang with them after their gigs; had always been a fan of Aerosmith. He said Joe was super cool to all the fans. He has neat pictures too.

  • @MegaAeroforce1 Yep. The big bust up happened a few months later at the infamous Cleveland gig.

  • Along with Earth, Wind and Fire doing "Got to Get You into My Life", this was probably the best thing about the film. In fact, I have often said that this movie killed more careers than Charles Manson.

  • @Sargebri

I liked Alice Cooper's Because too...

  • I remember you

  • great version of this tune .. horrible movie .. too strange to see the Bee Gees beat up Aerosmith .. remember seeing it in the theatre circa 1978 ..

  • What on earth is this clip from? Is it a movie...?

  • @fairdathm its from the movie "Sgt. Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band." they play the Evil Villan Band.

  • ......................

  • little did he know

  • That would not be his last time falling from a stage.........

  • @slickback333 LMAOOOOO with this comment haha so true but so mean at the same time hahahaha

  • @gaby47 I just speak truth lol

  • Cool

  • One of my favorite covers of all time. God, I LOVE this song.

  • @burly3765 go to dirpy its free!

  • at 3:32, I wish that was justin bieber...LOL

  • lol toms hair is the one moving like there's wind

  • why does tyler look like a duck when he sings this? lol

  • Bad movie, great song.

  • That would also be Andy Gibb from the BEEGEES! wtf!

  • Steven and Joe are sooooo sexy!

  • @highitskate and ssoooo stoned in that clip..r'n'f'n roll!!!

  • i <3 this movie sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band

  • getting beat up by Peter Frampton, how pathetic!!

  • @ps10iceman No, Tyler was winning the fight until Frampton's girlfriend pushed him from behind

  • @HammerJackson --my mistake,I could'nt stand watching it anymore and missed the end. Peter Frampton had a girlfriend?? I though he was gay?? I guess not. I do thing the bee gees are though -at least one or two of them anyway!! Unfortunately I remember this when it came out in 78? I thought it sucked so bad I did'nt see the whole thing then either!!

  • It's from the Sgt. Pepper movie

  • Love Aerosmith and they do this song perfectly. What year was this?

  • Frampton's just jealous because he saw that Tyler would still have his hair in the 21st century and he wouldn't. ;)

  • rare??..everybody has this but you...lol

  • What is this off of??? Im trying to find this please tell me.

  • @michaelmcchill its a beetles song

  • i know you, you know me

one thing i can tell you is get to be free

come together rigt now over me......

  • LOL Steven Tyler in Polyester! priceless

  • wat is this from

  • @knules2 This is from the movie Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I worked as an usher in a theater in high school in 1979 and I went into the theater each time this clip was played and watched it. Prolly seen it 14 times then, I now have the vhs movie, and of course I can watch it on YT.

  • it's awesome but not rare.

  • In their book- Tyler and Perry were saying how completely f''ed up on drugs, heroin and such, shooting this. Its was a long day and they had to wait around and it was all down hill. You can see how bad off they are

  • Check out the Brown Shirts and one of the Gibbs brothers! What year is this from?

  • OOOOOOOOOO! Yummy!

  • not so rare anymore eh?

  • Brilliant!!!....Amazing voice...Big Thumbs up to you!!!..Hugs Jessie xxx

  • I still think it sounds like they're doing an imitation of Alice Cooper.

  • NEVER GETS OLD..........ONE OF THE BEST VOICE IN ROCK.
