  • I dont remember all of my medical terms either I'm only human

  • 7 patients?!! i work at a snf & i have 36! :(

  • @yamaguchiyo That sounds very challenging and impossible. I don't know how you do it, but I give you a lot of credit for that.

  • @yamaguchiyo An RN i know has 60 patients. I work in a LTC facility.

  • I worked on telemetry and as a CNA and I usually had 12 pt's but I didn't have all that entails of a RN but it was still pretty hard! Especially when there was only 2 CNA's to the floor and 30 pt's :.(. !!!

  • @Puddinpop1987 12 patients is a lot for a CNA. The CNAs on my old Tele floor had 6-8 patients. I don't know how they got away with that.

  • In Ireland its way more than 6 patients per nurse in a ward

  • @multibrightest That would be really hard work.

  • 5 or 6 paients would be bliss!! I work in the UK where on ave its about 7-8 patients per nurse!!

  • @honeylou821 Wow!! That sounds painful. =)

  • WHAT?!?!?!?!?! 6 patients? SEVEN PATIENTS?!?!?! I can NOT even imagine having 6-7. I have a hard time with 5 when we have those days. I'm going to have to say I must be stupid because I totally did NOT know what hyperalimentation was, I asked that question too (recently). :o(

  • @delicatepuzzle I guess everyone has their moment, but needing to ask questions never ends. =)

  • I am a former nurse aide and we had like 15 patients on the tele floor. I would have loved 5 or 6 patients. I am now a pre nursing student. Great video heather. :)

  • @TheEculp That is outrageous!!! You were abused. =) Good luck with all your pre reqs.

  • Hi Heather I always think twice before I ask any question...:)

  • @ishratster Good idea. Or try and look it up myself somewhere.

  • Wow i cant stop watching Heather's Videos! I just had Inguinal hernia surgery on the 5th and i wish Heather could have been my nurse!

  • @BlaZinGame420 Hello. Hope you are having a speedy recovery.

  • Of course. =)

  • heather, as a nurse isn't it better to ask stupid questions (if there are any) than to act like you know everything?
