You can tell she has a great stage presence and voice...It's also very clear to tell she has a very liberal point of veiw as when she states memorable politicians they are all democrats and she also targets the Busch era as a disgrace. However to someone who isn't that political they couldn't tell...Overall i6t was pretty good, however there have been better.

This may not have been the best OO, but she won because of the performance and the organization. She put in voice and humor into a very tense topic and has an amazing speaking voice. You could tell she wrote it and wasn't reading it from a text book. She put personality into the speech to make it interesting to watch. Overall very good performance, but not great or perfect.

Right? I was there and I heard so many better speeches. I am sorry but like you said it SUX! But no one on Speech team agrees with me. They say, "Oh it's like the most amazing Oratory I've ever heard!" Yeah right!

It may not have been perfect, but I thought that she did a wonderful job. Maybe not state winning-worthy, but it certainly was state finals-worthy.

@CrankDhatAlex Unfortunately, Warren (and most schools in Illinois) doesn't compete in the National Forensics League so she didn't get to go to Nationals.

I thought the performance and speech was simply flawless. The humor was great and you could tell the topic meant a lot to her. Professionalism was high and her transitions were smooth. I absolutely enjoyed watching her nice, solid oratory performance.
