I actually think she is rather good. She pronounces really well, and the vibrato is not disturbing. Imagine a young girl taking a walk in damp, cold and misty countryside in Scotland and telling to her maid that she had seen a ghost there once. The vibrato fits. She is not a miracle, but she is loads better than others.
Thanks Scarpia, i am Hungarian too so it is nice to hear what you say but if i want to remain objective, it is more precise to say that all countries have beautiful voices and great talents, the advantage of the Hungarians is that they have good schools or high education in music... or maybe they are more sensitives for music than some others.
je trouve que Erika choisi mal son repertoir. Cette chanson c'est vrai c'est chiant, on s'ennuie. Mais faut pas juger une voix sur un seul morceaux, elle a une voix superbe.
Hm...I am not very fond of her colour of the voice. She's still young, so she can sing coloratura, but think she's gonna change soon and go to lirics/ dramatic roles, she should go and sing some Verdi (but NOT Abigail or Lady Macbeth), more Leonora (the Trovatore one) or Odabella (Atilla) or even Aida.
I agree. The timbre is a bit strange but I think it's possibly due to a tremor in the vibrato due to flooding the voice. It's possible that her voice will change and I agree that it will probably be a full lyric or even dramatic sound.
Orribile!!!!!!!

hm... maybe Hungarian food is excellent (i love it for sure) but for those opera singers have a hard job to keep their shape :)))

I've seen her on stage as Lucia. She was so young then, but the whole performance was just great.

I prefer her, don`t know why there is this hype about the Netrebko, I prefer the Miklosa :)

@Garibdos I prefer Miklosa too. Her singing is so effortless, and it is solid througout. Netrebko is not very good. Maybe she should stop partying.

She must sing it in an opera production. Why does she stick to the Queen only. She's better than 99% of Lucias out there... :(
