iPhone Programming - Make a HUD, Score System, Background, and Levels - Part 1

i'm trying to develop an HUD sys for a vehicle with a working speedometer and tachometer. is there a way i can preform that? cuz this title was misleading... i thought i meant what i was looking for. this was very informal but still of the topic i was looking under. any help is apreciated

Which firmware are you using? This tut should work for all firmwares but I haven't tried on 2.x.

I use 3.1 in iphone sumulator

but i use it in snow leopard

it might only work in leopard

I also use Snow Leopard, and it still works. Make sure you copy it exactly, but otherwise, I don't know why it wouldn't work.

Soz m8 just found I was using 2.2.1 or watever and hav upgraded it to 3.0 so everything works fine now so thank for the gr8 vids but for future videos would u mind slowing it down a bit lol coz this was my 1st like attempt at the SDK and I had to keep pausing ur vid, I culdnt keep up :)

Just looked through for any differences I may have to you whilst going through the video and I found my 'info.plist' does not have the 'HUD-' before it and I dont know why but could this be the reason it is not working?

Mine says HUD because that's what I named my project. As long as you go into your info.plist it will work. Also, what version of xcode are you using?

Hi err lol havnt got very far in typed UIStatusBarHidden and nothing happens, it just remains the same, any suggestions please and thanks.

You must make sure that the capitals and lowercase and proper, otherwise it won't work properly. Try that and see if it works.
