I LOVED this performance! Dang 1/2 these ppl leaving comments are really MEAN. You guys are just jealous you don't have girls fawning over you. If you don't like it, don't watch it foo.
I thought it was cool that they actually did it. it doesnt matter if they didn't sound like professionals! Its a show! the audience liked it and thats all that matters so stop being dicks and bashing them! Its the heart that matters. I personally thought that it was good and fun to watch.
Dudes, nice work! You played together and showed respect for each other and made it a performance together. Keep practicing and playing! Eff the haters.
wasn't so bad, i agree that it was alot of basic stuff, but if ppl focus abit more on the teamwork and the syncronised part, it was a good performance!
we really wish we did have more time to practice, but the logistics of setting up two drumkits and practicing when you're a college student living in an apt. made it difficult.
I would say Pearl gives you the best sound per dollar out of anyone. Most of it has to do with heads- Pearl Export and Tama Swingstar are pretty comparable. This Export had coated Evans G2's and the Tama had Remo Pinstripes.
Go with Pearl. its Without a doubt worth the money. I got myself a Nice Pearl Export-7 Peice Double bass set and that thing kicks ass with the right equipment. The thing that makes or brakes any drumset is the Drum Heads you use and the Cymbals you use. That depends on your playing Style tho (Rock, Metal, Jazz, Ect.) I suggest going to your local music store and trying shit out before buying
I don't know who the idiot was that gave you guys one star, but you get a full five from me! The two of you have some intense skill :-) Has to be more difficult doing the bass drum in those dress shoes too!

The intro was stupid and unnecessary, would be more effective if you were serious drummers.

Egh...
People must not see know talent on the drums anymore...
Rofl
Go to my school and you'll see drummers who know how to do more then the basics. Considering how boring this town is , that's all they do.
Even the 10 yr olds Can keep up a double bass and make their own death metal drum solos.

not that impressive.
I mean, it doesn't have to be i guess, but the point of most drum battles is to entertain, right?
Try something a little more impressive guys.

freundtraub 3 years ago 13
Actually, the snare on the right is a Pearl Free-floater with Evans heads. Not saying it's tuned well, but it sounds a lot better in person
drumpetbass 2 years ago
Which Evans head?
Mine sounds really good exact same drum

You watched past the first minute, right? we did a little intro where we were pretending the guy on the Pearl was giving me a lesson...
drumpetbass 3 years ago

Hey guys, where does a Gretsch drum set rank on the drum scale? 1= best, 10=worst.
LinkinPark2176 4 years ago
Gretsch makes quality drums and for a great price. I don't have a whole lot of personal experience, but I would put them at like a 3 or 4.
drumpetbass 4 years ago
Sweet. Thanks! :)
LinkinPark2176 4 years ago
There are so many different levels they make a 200 dollar kit and a 8000 dollar kit. It's random hero I can't belive you said that. fuckin dumbass
