  • Does anyone know if there is a transcription available of this lesson? (in tab format). I just learned a Zambra Mora from one of Juan Martin's books and would like to incorporate some of the falsetas from this video. Thanks in advance!

  • @rockomole You can find a transcription of this piece in Juan's "Flamenco Concert Selections" book from Mel Bay in both standard notation and tablature.

  • this is amazing. this guy is incredible and i think i learned something on guitar too.

  • Does the arabic and regular flamenco use the same dorian scales?

  • @joelakastud123 Arabic music has some scales that are impossible to play on most western instruments because they have quarter tones.

  • Juan Serrano belongs up there with the great Sabicas among the greatest flamenco masters of all time. I never get tired of seeing him play.

  • wonderful piece

can you tell me where to get the notes from for Fantasia

    thx

  • @balkeztanulmany - Mel Bay MB93698BCD - Juan Serrano Flamenco Concert Selections - it comes with the CD. I have known Juan for almost 50 years, and he was my teacher. In fact, I consider him to be a "Teachers teacher"! He is so positive towards his students, and a very nice person.

  • Grande señor Juan, ya les gustaría a muchos dominar el inglés como usted lo hace, estoy seguro de que en el extranjero le entienden porque habla bien aunque pronuncie como español andaluz...muy grande Juan Serrano, gracias por su sabiduría

  • its like listening to someone speak arabian with a spanish accent.... but its a guitar

  • It seems to have a more evil tone

  • Does anyone know where to find tabs or sheets for this, besides in a book?

  • i think he can play anything

  • The picture in picture is kind of redundant.

  • Magia y embrujo, muy bonita.

    Un saludo.

  • juan serrano is the don when it comes to flamenco styles. just started playing this style and he is the cleanest i have seen

  • i meet this guy! awesome dude!

  • Awesome accent!

  • very nice haha

  • @noodleninjaa yeah... it's english, but with the standard spaniard vices... people of Spain can't pronounce english the way it must be, they're unable to do it

  • Thank god Im of Spanish (Spain) descent man. Im proud of our music. I love it.

  • @noodleninjaa

    yeah!

    but fantastic guitaring!

  • sorry 3:56*

  • 365 he plays a metal riff

  • It starts at 2:17 -your welcome.

  • this is great. i admire this type of music.

  • The tab and music score for this piece is in Juan Serrano's book "Flamenco Concert Selections" published by Mel Bay.

  • i dont need all that talking from you, just give me the tabs and i will be fine !!

  • Jeez, man! Stop whining and learn to pick it up by watching and listening. What do you think...the Gitanos all sat around the campfire writing TABS for each other??? Gimme a break...

  • Thanks for your nice comment

but if they created something nice, why don't they make it easy for everyone by writing a simple tabs, that every NOOB will understand, i am new on the guitar, and its really hard to get it just by watching, even if i watch it for a million time,

  • @bobcorn1990

its better to take the time to learn properly(even if it takes a while). or you will just end up fucking yourself over.

  • Hey !

Do you have the TANGO Video in good quality ?

Cueva Guitana I mean. If you have, I would be thankful for sharing it

  • I've done this score

  • merci!

  • can i plz get the tab on this.....

  • no words..

  • for real it's something like arab- andalusian music ., El Flamenco is one one of the most beautiful similarities between the arabian musin and the gypsy or Los Gitanos music .. it's the similarity between two beautiful civilizations .. Islam

  • PLEASE I WANT THE TAAAABS

  • this guy is the KING !

  • why is there a picture in picture? it doesn't change alot ^^

  • true that :) I was wondering as well!!!!

They forget about zoom zoom zoom ;)

  • @shahin0ne87

No mamen pendejos. Its just a cool effect

  • @psychopathtoine I think the purpose was to show his finger movements, picture is low res, but the music is still awesome..

  • @psychopathtoine It was a new technique at the time that this video was made. Funny how he describes going to drop - D: "maka da sick streeng sound like-a da fort" Cool video.

  • @psychopathtoine it's guitar inception...

  • I'd prefer if he actually spoke Spanish and it had subtitles, very nice guitarist though. His book is good for beginners as well.

  • doctoor guitar, :D

  • he looks like Viggo Mortenson from that movie eastern promises

  • Right up there with the rest of the flamenco geniuses, IMO.!

  • Like my two year old would say "Amazzzzzzzzing" ...

  • His glare at the end made me LOL. What dvd is this from btw and how can i get it?

  • APRENDE HABLAR INGLES JETON!! XD

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • we call that drop D tunning in metal

  • If you dont get it the first time smoke a big fatty and you will.

  • Muchas gracias, beautyfull Zambra from the Master. Just wonder what the purpose of the video inset is for? It's not zooming in or something like that : )

  • i have the original vhs of this and i have wondered for years about that insert,i blame the editor he probably did'nt know he was supposed to close up the fret hand .

then it made it to production and puff! to late
