My 22 yr old son died from his addiction to Ritalin or Methylphenadate. Addiction is not a choice in all cases. We parents give the drugs to our children because a teacher and a psychiatrist has told you it will help. These doctors never warned us of the dangers, they just icreased the dosage. My son was a straight A student in college when his world fell apart and he could not control the damage of this highly addictive drug.He asked me why God gave him this curse, and why we gave him the drug.

im on Ritalin for my adhd and im fine it made me smarter and considerate without it i wount be able to get through college

drug abuse is not a reason to not take your adhd meds. if you abuse it thats your fault thats not the drug's fault
