its actually easy to keep it down, the first time it will feel weird and you want to get up, just fight that feeling and you can pull a long drag off like that.
lol, look at you dumb youtube faggots always trying to start fights with people! man you're weak! why dont' dont you go suck your own dick and learn how to spell "california" dumbass!!! lol!!!
haha your funny cause i did all those videos when i was like 15 is this what you do all day is look at other peoples videos and talk shit cause you ain't gettin no punan?
just a suggestion so we don't see a second video of the camerawoman becoming paralyzed.. have her get off up off the slide out. If you lowside you're going to take both her legs off dude.. just my .02
Nice work, but be careful! Do this on a track, the street can throw you so much shit like you cannot imagine. Keep it on tracks.. and you'll be doing this the whole day and then push it some more.
Stick to the track when you do that stuff get the tyres up to temp and then ya laughing because its a bit to dodgy on the street but good work dude do some track days you will love it.
hey i own or know shit about street bikes just cars but i have been watching street bikes and i know this is a noob question but what is the purpose for knee dragging? just to take corners quicker? does it fuck up your knee?
Doesn't fuk up ur knee coz you have knee sliders on (plastic pieces on ur knee, velcroed to leathers).
To steer a bike its all about leaning...the further you lean, the more u turn...the knee not only looks cool but adds a 3rd contact point to the road...
i am working on getting my WERA license so i can go to Jennings GP and go the Barber's. I love to drag my knee oh and your gixxer is sick for a 2001! all the gixxers that old i've seen are all trashed and look like crap.
i know nothing about knee touching the ground when you turn on a sprotbike. i see it all the time on television when the professionals do it. I was wondering if your knee actually touches the ground and does it hurt you or is there something protecting your knees besides the racing pants. someone who has done this before or knows about please respond i am very curious thanks.
clovers can be great practice for right side corning as well. i like to mess around with clovers now and again, but i wouldnt really call it practice. i dont race or anything, but i wanna! lol
It was just to try and to feel how it was to touch the road with the knee... but dragging knee can be very usfull. On track it has already saved me when my rear wheel started to slip. I was eable to avoid my bike laying down on the side by pushing on my knee.
I usually practice at the airport near my house. There are corners with fields surrounding them so if i fall i wont hit anything. Plus to make it safer i never take the inside lane just in case there is an oncoming car, i wouldn't want a head on.
For driving on streets this pressure is ridiculously low and lowering to such pressures is of no good for the stability of your bike. One word of advice: Try at least 0.5bar on the front and the rear. Gives you better precision.
Thanks for your advices. I use those pressures on the track and when I try to drag knee on the road. Fore riding on street I usually use 2,4, with more pressure my front tire has tendency to slip (two crashs avoided already...).
Hey this is Europe! I could tell because of all the shitty little snub nosed cars. Nice riding though. props.

how do you drag knee?my cousin just got a new bike and he cant get back up so he wiped out
xXxvirusmakerxXx 3 years ago
- you must have enough speed (for this corner my speed is about 90-100 km/h)
- the road must be clean ;-)
- you must move on the side of the bike
- put your knee a little bit away from the bike
- turn :-D
The best place where you can learn that is on the track, after some laps your knee will touch the ground very easily. \o/
SlyEmy 3 years ago
how do you get back up :S
awsomeclips12 3 years ago
When you stop pushing on the handlebar and on the peg (left to turn left) the bike tends to get up alone, you just have to let it do.
(I'm not at ease with English, I'm French :-D)

THere called sliders. A smooth pad really slick. They have them for elbows too. But You've gotta be a competitive closed circuit racer to need those!

Dragging a knee is bad.
Your knee is an indicator, nothing else. It touches just before your muffle/pegs/sidestand. If those aren't touching, neither is your knee.
TheSternMystic 3 years ago

Dragging knee is NOT bad. You should probably keep your riding "advice" to yourself as it sounds like you're the one needing the help.
418NV 3 years ago
If you don't have any advice or evidence that contradicts what I said, then eat shit.
TheSternMystic 3 years ago
you can put your knee on the ground with the bike still almost upright, suggest you get outside and ride your bike a bit more
