Yeah but if you look at most bands (e.g. The Rolling Stones) They start off young and aggressive with all this raw energy and make songs like 'Treat Yo Mama' (Or Rolling Stones - Ventilator Blues) But then they naturally progress as song writers and start making music that isn't nesecerally difficult to play but more musical and mature..... I personally think Sunrise Over Sea was a masterpiece

yeah I know they have talent, I just think that the new songs don't show the talent that they have. This song is like a three cords song, and from John Butler I personaly think that is not so good. Some songs on the new album are sooooooo short, you start to enjoy the song and then it's finish already. If I compare this to songs like Treat yo mama, Betterman, Zebra, What you want it's totaly different and not in a good way in my opinion. He can really do a better job than this

Seriously, i don't think this is crap. Everybody has different taste for music. These guys are talented. You can't judge all their music based on one single piece. I would like to see what kind of artist you like. Maybe I won't like it, but that doesn't mean this artist can't be recognize by others.
