I had this light, It was heavy, and expensive. I didn't have a DMX controller, and I found that the auto pilot was a bit repetative. Other then that, I liked the mirror setup.
you should have just put it on the floor facing up or at least put the camera on the side. You cant realy see what its doing very well with it facing directly into the camera. i just keep getting blinded by different colors.
Had one of these in a club i did lighting for back in the early 90's. worked on it forever ,never was able to get it to work. too bad because i think it would have made a great addition to the show. A new improved led version would be cool if someone would build it.
1) its a good idea getting one of these, with all the led and laser fix out there on 315$, used ?
2.) if i put this one in my structure, they will blid people, not sure...?? also, it is there its too much diference if i hook up on the ceiling or mounting on the structure on vertical position....
this is a very crazy fixture, in my place we've got 2 of this, and we famously call this as centerpiece. way back then with other brands it was very big and used to lift it up with 8 people and hang it in a truss. I hate it since ADj stopped it in production.
My local rink had two of them. One for each turn. One completely broke down a summer or so ago so they got all new Intimidators (1.0s I believe), and moved the tempest to the center. It is a neat effect.

Surprisingly versatile and unique for a centrepiece. Most others just have the moving mirrors and limited sequences.
Thanks for uploading!

That is totally best suited for installation in the top corner of a venue, or as a center piece effect....awesome dance floor coverage!
